Remarks
Well, I would really recommend people getting into this college although it has a path for improvements.
Course Curriculum Overview
Industry-specific knowledge is not provided to students until their placements till then they are taught subjects related to their core branch. This is a place where the college lags a bit, the industrial visit is not an organizer or maybe I was unknown of that fact.
Placement Experience
The placement part is by far the best thing known about this college, it has tie-ups with a lot of multi-national companies and IT firms, the college provides almost 100% placement every year and the institution takes special care of students during the placement session.
College Events
Kiit fest the largest fest in Orissa a lot is held with a duration of about 3 days students participate in various technical games and competitions organized by the students itself, at night we have famous singers and dancers performing live for our students, except that there are a lot of pf events organized by the students itself across the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's a bit expensive for middle-class people like us but education is a field where people are ready to invest any amount for a good future and return. Kiit accepts bank transfers, cheques, demand drafts, etc. Yes, there are a few additional fees that are to be paid in order to secure admission. Yes, kiit provides transparency in the fee-breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
I myself am studying on education loan so that is hassle-free people can opt that from any bank nearby with a minimum rate of interest and avail that opportunity.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is almost 1:1. Key has a lot of cultural societies almost around 25 societies which helps in the personality development of a student and boosts their extracurricular performance level. No one is biased in Kiit with regards to race religion pr ethnicity everyone is treated the same way, localities are also helpful and understanding.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are extremely helpful and friendly and juniors can anytime reach out to them for any kind of help they require.
Admission
I opted for this course because I wanted to become an engineer. The factors which made me choose this college are firstly it is a well-known university known all over India with a national ranking of 26, among all other universities secondly it guarantees in providing 100% placement to all students moreover the infrastructure of this college is quite overwhelming which made me choose this college. We need to give an entrance kittee and as per the ranking, the student is required to choose his/her prefered field of engineering.
Faculty
The faculty is not up to the mark speaking about the teachers I was taught through a few of them are really helpful and students can reach out to them anytime the placement advisory committee is the best in this college and are very helpful and motivating.
