I took the test conducted by St. Francis College for my B.Sc Computers course. I scored 85% and got an admission there. I had the option of choosing B.Sc Computers and B.Sc Hons.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
Fee structure is affordable. Fee range starts from 30000 per semester to 40000 according to the stream that the students choose, with Arts/Commerce streams being lowest and Sciences being highest. This fee includes Library, Sports and Other Maintenance fee. However, an extra fee of 2000 is collected for ID and Certificate Courses.
PLACEMENT WING
Placement opportunities are very high. Every year, the campus placements occur for four days. It has a history of placement record for placing more than 75% of the passed out students of each class (majorly in Science and Commerce Streams).
EXAM STRUCTURE
We have a semester wise course pattern. Exams are not very frequent. Internal exams are conducted twice every year, also the Communication Skill Tests. Final Semester Exams are conducted at the end of each semester.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
As far as Course Curriculum is concerned, our college being an autonomous college, we have our own curriculum was designed to take up greater challenges in higher education and post graduate education. With courses including but not limited to Sciences, Humanities, Arts, Commerce, Curriculum has always been designed to meet the market standards.
INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES
Internship opportunities are abundant here when compared to other colleges. Companies that offer internship include Deloitte, Amazon, Serco BPO, Knoah Solutions etc. Generally, the stipend offered range from 6000 to 8000 per month.
COLLEGE EVENTS
We have an annual cultural and management festival, which is one among the best college fests in the South India. Colleges across the state and the neighboring states participate in the fest, which includes activities like Business quiz, Finance and Science competitions, Dance and Music Competitions. Last year, the strength came to around 2000 students from across several states.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
Yes, Scholarships are provided from both the college and the state government BC and SC/ST Welfare departments. College rewards meritorious and needy students with an undisclosed amount every year. The state government scholarships. However, are provided for the people belonging to the BC/SC/ST and Economically Backward Categories.
