Remarks

The atmosphere of the college is a good and plastic-free and tobacco-free zone. I joined management quota, I visited most of the colleges in Coimbatore before joining srit, but here fees and the atmosphere comfortable for me

I joined the EEE department, the faculty members are very supportive throughout academics and also they support sports events. The faculty members are M.E and PhD holders

pre-final year students are eligible for placement, and placements depend on your academic score, lots of companies visit SRIT campus and SRIT faculty members provide placement training to place in good company.

campus life is good, tech fest conduct by each department, sports events and club activities are well in college the annual fest is only saddest part only for 1 hour, rest of the events are good

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

Dislikes

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs
Strict rules (needed, but some are too strict)

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Think 10*10 times before you choose! Don't regret in future!!

To get into cse dept,one need to have cutoff above 150. Should have opted biomaths or computer science group in 12th grade. Management quota also to get admitted even if your mark is low than expected. Based on first graduate reservation, government school students have scholarship which the government itself pays the whole fee, but exam fee and other fee such as extra chicken and egg tolen mandais should be paid by the student . And exams are conducted once in 4 months. Even though the semester is of 6 months but they will finish it fast and will only give us 1 week to 10 days of leave....Read More
