Experience of college life

It already had the recognition of being one of the top private engineering colleges in kolkata, also heard a lot about good placement opportunities post degree completion. To be honest,if u belong to CSE or IT, You will be flooded with campus starting from 3rd year only.Admission process is very easy compared to other colleges.The dept of CSE and IT will leave to get you placed.

Talking of my department,faculty to student ratio was pretty good. Faculties take care of you a lot and try to take you through all the possible things that can help u grow. Coordinates and HODs are very helpful. Now u have 4 continuous evaluations and everything was timely conducted.You are gonna have a good 4 years of college life.

Many companies during placement provide internships also.Like Sopra Stera,TCS digital,ZS,NRIFT which will hire you during 8th sem only for internships.Last sem you won't have to attend classes.Even amazon arranged a limited student internship experience for out college students.all roles revolve around software developer.

From 7th sem starting only companies start visiting your college.And this goes on for an entire year.You'll get plethora of chances to prepare and get yourself placed.Well known IT companies like TCS ,CTS ,LTI,Mindtree,NRIFT ,BYJU's and a lot of small startups and sales companies will come for placement and if u belong to CSE or IT or perhaps ECE also you are gonna get placed within 7th sem only.You can see yourself going for 5 different companies placement in college in 5 consecutive days.Such frequency.Worry not,if nobody takes you, TCS is there.in IT around 90% got placed this year.But one thing here one student one job rule is there.U cant sit for other company if u r already placed somewhere.

4 years almost takes 4 lakhs talking about my time.now i guess it has increased a little.this is exclusive of exam fees or other extra fees that have to timely provided. In-spite of all these i'll rate the college high because of a job i got from college at ZS in pune with a pretty decent salary.

Tye annual fest is anakhronos which is not very good but annual tech fest "EDGE" is very popular among student.every year apart of tech competitions for 3 days,at EDGE night you'll get to see famous stand up comedians like Rahul Subhramanium, Zakir Khan etc etc free of cost.Classrooms are good only if u don't have any class in 8th floor.Lifts are always flooded and u may miss a class if u have to avail lift.All the year events will keep going.You just have to enroll yourself and boom! There is a good literary society named Eclectica u may join.Sports and these thing will never let your college life get bored.
