Remarks

This college ranked number 1 in all over the rtu affiliated colleges and also it have a good infrastructure with latest technology's labs. This is the best college if we compare it with other rtu colleges. Discipline is the necessary if you want to study in this college. And also if you have good percentage in 12th and follows some criteria then can be able to get scholarships. You don't need to pay tuition fee if you get this scholarship. I searched about this college on collegedunia.com,where I found this college best and also visited the college. That's why I preferred skit over others. Dress code is must in this college, that also implies the discipline.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Electrical is the core branch. You will get the best faculty in this college. And will also help you to qualify competitive exams like gate, ras etc. Standard of exams are quite good than other colleges as I saw some papers of other colleges but it will be very easy to pass the exams because of the same level you will get the teaching.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 94000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Mostly Infosys, Cognizent, Thrillophilia, TCS, Pinnacle and many more companies offered the placements. The stipend that they provided was approx 20000 per month during the training. Projects are all about the software related or the core topics related that adds some extra value in the practical knowledge.

Placement Experience

3.5

Companies come in the 7th semester, mostly cs/IT branch students get the placement. But core students who are bright in studies get the best placements. But mostly students go for higher studies through gate and some qualifues the competitive exams and get the job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is approx 94000 per year. But if you follows some criteria like the good percentage in 12th then can also get scholarships. After getting scholarship you have to pay only hostal fee and examination fee. You don't need to pay your tuition fee. Placements in core branch are less but if you know coding then can be placed. But most of the students applies for competitive exams.

Campus Life

4.5

Life in campus is very good. No one will harm you or you will get very peaceful atmosphere. Seniors will help you for your good carrier. Library with good facilities is in campus. You will get books related to your course, magazines, papers and also digital library. A stationery is also there, you don't need to go outside of the campus. Skit runs so many clubs like IE club, dance club, singing club, drama club, photography club, sports club anf and so many. Pravah is the annual fest of skit.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

If you opt for hostel of college then you will get a room for a single person.Rooms have the facilities of AC and the mess quality is quite good. You will get morning breakfast and then lunch and dinner with the schedule. And special food on Sunday. Canteen is available in college.

Hostel Fee: INR 96000 per year

Every time l injoy my college life

Likes

I like my college because it has a friendly environment and helpful teachers. The classrooms are clean, and the library is useful for studying. I enjoy spending time with my friends. My college provides good education and encourages students to part

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as very good. It covers important topics and provides useful theoretical and practical knowledge. The syllabus is relevant to our field of study and helps develop our skills. However, including more practical sessions and industry-related topics would make the curriculum even better.

the class timings are really flexible that is maximum 5 hours in a day
there are a lot of fun events in college every other day
the male to female ratio is approx 1:1 and both genders jam well with each other

Dislikes

the money factor i would say is one thing which doesnt add up if placements are considered
the freedom provided here might not be the best for everyone u need to have self control over yourself
people here can get too entitled and the pda inside might bother you but you will find your people

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirriculum is designed in a way such that most of the outdated and uselss things are removed this year and the labs of each subjects help you well enough to dive deeper into the application of the subject . some areas for improvement can be removing unnecessary subjects like manufacturing process for cse students . main exams are held every 3 months and the difficulty is moderate

Friendly Teachers - treat you warmly and respectfully.
No severe Attendance Criteria or Extra marks deduction.
Many Seminars included throughout the course.

Dislikes

Architectural issues, building without repairs and many damages, no parks or playground for sports and activities.
Damaged computers and conjusted computer labs.
Need to revise the syllabus for CSE/IT as it is not keeping up with current tech.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

Dislikes

Placement services are good and also companies like Google and microsoft comes to visit our campus.
Quality of infrastructure is like a Nit as they focus on giving best building and infrastructure with good curriculum too. Advanced technologies and amenities are awesome.
Course curriculum is relevant and rigorous practice of real world applications problem helps in cracking big company's interview

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because here the course is relevant and infrastructure is good also they give scholarship to study here . Curriculum helps very well in improving real world applications in day to day life . Teaching methods are impressive but some times it looks like a burden as they give load to students in improving themselves so this thing they should improve . Timing of the exams are of 3 hours . Their exam pattern is like other government college but they take exam strictly. Difficulty level is medium level .

I applied for college like LMNIIT Jaipur,BIT jaipur. But I didn't take admission there because the fee of these college is too high .i cant afford it.i also applied purnima college and jecrc foundation, but everyone says that skit is much better than purnima and jecrc in education or placement also.skit is good for those students who want to do something. It is strict college it is good for students. In admissions you first give jee mains paper. Then you applied in REAP it same as joosa counselling in REAP you get reap rank .then according too reap rank you get college. Reap rank is depent your jee main rand and class 12 pcm percentage. If someone doesn't give jee main he can applied for REAP . But first preference is give to rhe student who give jee main .cutoff is based on reap rank .i can give you rough ide that i get 94000 rank in jee main 2024 and 88.60 percentage in12 my pcm percentage is 96.i get 751 open reap rank and 250 obc rank....Read More

SKITian giving reality checks

Our college is on 1st rank in rajasthan technical university's ranking criteria. This was the main reason why i selected this college. Other than that the placements are good enough for every branch. My admission criteria was from REAP. I applied in REAP and according to my priority SKIT was first and JECRC foundation was second. They also check JEE ranks and 10th plus 12th class percentage and allot the branch as per ypur performance....Read More
