Vaish College of Engineering Rohtak, B.Tech, Mechanical Engineering

Entrance Preview

AIEEE (100 marks) I have interest in cars so choose mechanical engineering. My relatives live in Rohtak so I choose that college.

Internships Opportunities

I pursued a designing course outside college and they didn't offer any stipend. They didn't provide any kind of internship we have to arrange our internships by yourself none of college staff is going to be responsible for any kind of internship programs and all.

Placement Experience

0.5

Below average they didn't offer much placements to their students. They just placed 2-3 student from my branch and they never asked others or provide any kind of placements. They are own their own college management has not responsible for anything.

Fees and Financial Aid

No they didn't provide any kind of scholarship but Punjab National Bank is providing loan to the students of our college. So it's good to have someone like that to help the needy people like Punjab National Bank did.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are not interested in juniors . Everyone is living there own life there are not any ragging nor any intro's which must hv to be taken as they create a new bond between seniors and juniours so overall .We don't able to made connections with seniors rht was a big drawbacks to us.

Faculty

My college faculties are average they just focus on theoretical knowledge instead of focusing or teaching students practically how things actually work. They just come teaching and completing their daily routine. They don't enjoy teaching by themselves.

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

It's so good I am happy that I took admission there. The climate here is good. Everything here is good. This college is good. Here the rules and regulations are strict and all follow well. Here the rules and regulations are strict and all follow very well. Those who do not follow the rules are also punished. And I am happy that I am a student of a college where rules and regulations are followed. Here, punishment is also given for breaking the rules. Mobile phones are not allowed in the classroom and assembly but some students carry mobile phones and some teachers take that from students. Most importantly this college is a co-ed college. Here boys and girls all study together. Everyone here helps each other. Teachers are also helping students in their studies....Read More
