Indian Institute of Technology is a brand. Once you get in your life is set. You Will get the best faculty and facilities and the best experience you can ever have all you have to do for it history study hard both before the college for admissions and after it to score good so that you can have in easy life going after

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very good. It is smooth going but students are still under a lot of pressure to do better and score good since the exams are not easy. There is a lot of practical approach and a lot of focus on research.

Placement Experience

The college offers excellent placements for all the students. even if you don't get placed during the college you will after it. Since IIT the biggest brand of the country. There is nothing stopping you and you will get high salary packages.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is highly expensive. Not all students can afford it. It is more than 8 lacs for my course for 4 years. If you are from the ST or SC then the fees will be about 80,000 for your time in the college.

Campus Life

There are sports tournaments and various competitions for the students to enhance and showcase their skills and talents. There are workshops for students and there are various clubs and associations inside the college which are cultural and technical.

Admission

There is a Joint Entrance Exam for this. You have to study a lot for it. it is not at all easy it is one of the most difficult exams in the country and a lot of students give it. You have to clear the JEE mains exam first and then the JEE advanced to get into IIT.

Faculty

The college has the top professionals in their field as professors. All the professors are alumini from different IITs or NITs of the country. They are very supportive and helpful and very experienced and they always share their experience with the studentsso they can do better

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

It was good professors and friendly teaching staff
Campus life is good, it provide new opportunities and has events and various clubs
Everyone here are good and friendly and is a lovely place to study

Dislikes

Hospital is far from college, which is again not an issue as they send bus service
It can give and provide more opportunities
Hostel facilities can be improved and they can build few more lecture halls

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Great coure , great college , better life

Likes

Library is well furnished with lots and lots of book.there is well furnished chairs and table like compartments where students can completely isolate himself and study. There are thousands of books in library
Study room is provided at the top floor of the institute. It is really clean and there are separate room like compartments where students can study well. They can even discuss in group if they want
We have a cafe inside our institute. Here we can have tea and coffee to relieve ourselves

Doctor is a noble profession , the mere respect which we get by being doctor is one of the prime motive for me to pursuade this course Aside from physiology , anatomy and biochemistry we have a e t c o m which is a type of curriculum which is thought to us in which we learn to deal with different situations during our career and they also help us in terms of improving our communication which is very crucial In real life application . Personally for me the curriculum started on September and we had our first internals in January 2nd around March third round me and we had a final exams in August Honestly speaking MBBS is not an easy course , it is really hard, you need to understand the core, and then applied to even in theory and practical exams. concept

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

I choose this college because I got computer science branch in IIT and fees is also low for me as a middle class student because I search in other nit have 2 lacks fee for one year for sc and fill this fee at the starting but here I fill 58500 in 1st sem and remaining in 2nd semester so it's And I applied for IIT Bombay here I choose chemical engineering but required rank is 679bbut my is 927 that's why not selected. And admission process of iit dharwad is very smooth if students selected in joosa rounds so fill the fee throgh online before reaching the college and submit required documents like 10th 12 marksheet aadhar card pan card fee receipt and joosa admission letter that's it admission done...Read More

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

I applied for CSE and MnC branches of all the 1st and 2nd gen IITs along with the 3rd gen IITs, my rank was about 4.8k so I knew I could get CSE only in the 3rd gen IITs out of which I felt IIT Dharwad was the best. My main reason for choosing IIT Dharwad was CSE, also that it was mentored by IIT Bombay, so the syllabus is quite tried and tested, also Dharwad is near to the tech hubs of the country like bengaluru, pune, mumbai, hyderabad which is good for someone who is really passionate about CSE.
