The curriculum of the course at this university is just like any other MBA course and proper assistance is provided to the students just like a regular college in forms of study materials, tutorials, notes etcetera.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities of the college are really good as the college provides a lot of opportunities to the students to work at renowned companies after completing their respective courses.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the two year MBA course at Karnataka State Open University - [KSOU], Mysore is pretty feasible as it costs ?39,800 for the complete course. It was one of the main reasons for me to select this college.

Campus Life

There are several extracurricular activities organised by the college throughout the year. These activities are of utmost significance as these are the ones that make us remember our college lives which are so near and dear to us.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumnis of the college are really successful, they are not only doing great in their lives but also attempt to make our lives better by sharing some great pieces of advice. I am glad to have these considerate seniors in my life.

Admission

I wanted to pursue MBA but I was working so I decided to search for some decent open universities that offer the MBA course and I found out about the Karnataka State Open University - [KSOU], Mysore.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is really helpful and they are always willing to help us in any way possible. They provide us with their notes, videos and other forms of study materials. I am glad to have such mentorship.

A quick sneek peak about our wonderful college!

Likes

The fees structure is very affordable for me and the fees for this kind of quality education is what I would really appreciate.
The intership opportunities and the placement records is also a very distinctive thing of our college
The faculty is very approachable and experienced and teach us real world skills along with the academics.

Dislikes

The college is very disciplined in terms of attendance and it is mandatory to maintain 75% attendance

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities from our college are amazing as the average package is around 700000 and the highest is around 900000. We even have a lot of value added certification couses which will give a boost to our CV. Many renowned companies such has Grand Throthon and the BIG four companies have came for placements.

The location advantage is something you can't afford to miss, as in Bengaluru you always have loads of opportunities
The campus and its ambience is one of the beast you can locate in the bengaluru proximity. It is safe, sound and enjoyful.
The mentors, teachers are very approachable and always ready to help you whenever needed.

Dislikes

Discipline is a factor which will always be in count here and you need to have a attendence above 75%.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is excellent there is 100% record of those students who choose to sit for the interviews or jobs. The average package for BBA is 7,00,000 and highest is 9,00,000. The big companies that visit are Delloite, KPMG etc.

The first thing i love the infrastructure of ISME and then the facultys and then also the batch size is less which we are getting personalized attention and more
The campus life is modern and it feels good and everyone in the campus are friendly and worth to make new connections.
The placement in ISME is good as a business school and they also have tied up with more top companies like KPMG etc...and the placement here is totally good

Dislikes

The only thing i disliked from my personal experience in ISME is attendance...because this attendance is soo mandatory here and strict in attendance
Also the campus is slightly far away when you are from the city

Placement Experience:

The placement in our collage is actually good ...even ug students who want to get a job after ug...isme is placeing the ug also in top companies and the placement here is really good and most of them getting placed in top companies

Likes

The college life was good , kind of easy environment . Had lots of fun .
The teaching faculty is quite experienced. The infrastructure seems little bit old but management tries to improve structure and other services regularly.
Have good girls to boy ratio , even classroom atmosphere is also chill.

Dislikes

Not every faculty is experienced, there are some faculty how are inexperienced.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted something which i can complete in less time so I took diploma. But the exams are delayed and it took more than two years to complete.As we know the courses are updated through nep 2020 . The knowledge provided is quite useful during our work in pharmacy . Overall the course curriculum is good . But there are few aspects which can be improved.

The maintenance of campus is good ,and the college events , and the teaching level is also excellent and the particular student have there own mentor they guide in each thing
The way they support us encourge us for our success and support in every situation and also support to the students in placment or training opportunities
If we lack or we are in problem they will support to come out if that with good solution

Dislikes

the college is not too strict for that reason the students may spoil easily
the ratio of our college is like 60:40 that is the majority are boys , and the college fan are slow which cause problem in summer
the college washrrom are not clean that cause problem,lack if industry

Placement Experience:

At the 6 th semester the students are eligible for placements and compaines visited our college are cloud fabric , crafty sogo , congnizent and some training like v tech , qspriders , pentagon space,alpheoleo , medini and some more the highest package is 5 lakh and the lowest is 3 lakh . around 10 to 15 students have been placed from cse dept after the degree i have one good salary job so to settle my life

I like the fact that our faculties are pretty good
Campus is very green and classes are provided with smart boards
Students are competitive and hardworking more focus on studies

Infrastructure is very decent not so wow

So from 5 th semester you are eligible to apply for an internship and after 6 th sem or ending you can sit for the full time roles , so as of now highest package is 28 lpa and lowest may be 5 lpa almost 95 percentage of students get placed . I "ll be doing job after my college

Things I liked it’s a friendly people and seniors are also good here they help to study very well
Another thing I liked that no uniform is there and the college timing is also good
All sir and mam are friendly and exam type is good

Dislikes

They not focusing on the sports activities
The college campus is very small it’s just of 8 acres
The ratio of boys girls is 2:1 in the college

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is great like and avg package is 100000 and it's in campus from 2st semester only the students become eligible for campus placement. Flipkart,TCL and aml many more companies came the highest package in 2023 got of 52 lakh in AIMl and the avg package is 10 lakh. The percentage of the students getting placements is 60-70% my plans after getting the degree to do master in abroad

What i most lile about this collage is its infrastructure styl
It has a very good environment lile very green
It even has a ganapati temple in the campus

Dislikes

Water quality is hostel is not good like not filterd properly
Hot water supply is only in morning not at all time
And i dont personally hate anything on the campus

Placement Experience:

The placement in the college are very good actually like more then 300 companies have visited the college and more then 950 jobs have been offered to the students companies like infosys, tcs, wallmart, global tech india, accenture, visa, dell technology, intel etc and mass recruter are companies lile infosys and tcs which gove 50+ and 60+ offers respectively. And last year there where 8 students who got 64 lpa and in which four(4) students where from information science and engineering that is our department. Our department is very good and if you take information science you can get a very good job

"KSOU: A Flexible and Independent Learning Experience"

* I didn't apply other colleges because I was looking for only distance education i didn't find other option which is near my location. I choose KSOU because it offered flexibelity with distance learning. Which allowed me to study at my own place. Other colleges had rigid schedules and higher fees than KSOU. * No I didn't get any rejection because I haven't applied other university or college. * Admission Process : Ksou admission process was smooth and simple, no complicated proceedures. Just go to the nearest KSOU regenal study center and they will help u regarding the same. *Eligiblity : KSOU requires a graduate degree for PG courses, and no entrance exams are needed for most courses. * Exams and cutoffs : There are no entance exams for most courses abd the cutoff is not struci. The ksou offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The undergraduate includes 4 programs and post graduate includes 5 program.Their will be no entrance exam to join any of the course. The admission can be preferred both offline and online. The ksou website includes all the admission details. The application can be found in the ksou website.
