Remarks

This is the best institute in Karnataka, if one wants to pursue medical. It gives you an atmosphere and vibe that other colleges fail to provide. Also the quality of education and the faculty of this college is a blessing for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is designed in such a way, that it brings out the true doctor within you. Five years of learning and practice brings out the best in you and make you ready to face the world outside. It is a well structured course, perfectly divided into 3 phases, with each of them having their own importance.

Placement Experience

As per our course curriculum, it is compulsory for every student to intern for 1 year with the hospital with a stipend of Rs. 30000-40000. Once our degree is completed, it is not difficult to get a placement. Most of the students get placed at reputed hospitals around the state while some set up their own clinics.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If one has to be a doctor, he has to bear expenses. The fees of the college is a bit on the expensive side, but the education and practice we get here, makes it totally worth it. The total course fee is Rs 85 lakhs, with per year fees being Rs 17 lakhs. Apart from this there is admission fee of Rs 15000 and hostel and mess fee of Rs 1.7 lakhs per annum.

Campus Life

Reputed doctors visited our college every now and then, for workshops and seminars. Apart from this we celebrated the major festivals in the campus like diwali, holi etc. However, no discrimination was ever done on any basis among the students.

Admission

For admission in MBBS, I cleared my NEET exam with flying colors and secured a good rank. My name then appeared in the merit list issued by the university. I then appeared at one of the institution for my counselling session to complete my admission procedure.

Faculty

The faculty is literally the best thing about our university. All the doctors have years of experience. They have practiced their art to perfection. May it be a practical or theory class, the professors are always on time and make sure that every student gets to learn the subject with ease.

The overall aspect of my College.

Likes

The college life was good , kind of easy environment . Had lots of fun .
The teaching faculty is quite experienced. The infrastructure seems little bit old but management tries to improve structure and other services regularly.
Have good girls to boy ratio , even classroom atmosphere is also chill.

Dislikes

Not every faculty is experienced, there are some faculty how are inexperienced.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted something which i can complete in less time so I took diploma. But the exams are delayed and it took more than two years to complete.As we know the courses are updated through nep 2020 . The knowledge provided is quite useful during our work in pharmacy . Overall the course curriculum is good . But there are few aspects which can be improved.

Dislikes

Campus is tooo small for a student to even have lunch
Strict and actively don't support in athletics
Sometimes, dealing with admin-related processes like society budget approval or fest dates approval can be slow and confusing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I got admission in 2024 so BCU started SEP Batch which is totally new , and we really don't find any book to refer on the basis where we don't get help as much as we need and it's new , bsc has alot to do .

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs

ISE department is clean and well maintained
Faculties in ISE department are very friendly in nature

Sometimes very strict in rules coming to attendence
Bus facility at Saturday will be delayed due to many students

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

I was always wanted to join medical services.Although during my neet ug entrance I could not make it to mbbs but dental was the choice only left I dont regret my choice because its way too vast for anyone Curriculum gives you basic knowledge but clinical practice actually prepares for the real world.Dentistry is all about art and skills I feel areas for improvement is only the exam factor.Number of exams are too much and they should reduce the exam pressure into few Frequency of exams are 4 exams per year and in final year 8 exams including part 1 and part 2 Difficulty level is too much,every exam requires thorough knowledge of the subject

This college loves innovation they have crated clubs for innovative students like aero kle ,kle media club, etc
The equality of college there is no difference done between boys and girls all are treated equally
The infrastructure of the college we can easily this college has best infrastructure in whole North Karnataka

There are some inexperienced teachers in some of courses like bca , bba ,bcom they teach well but they lack experienc
More importantance is given to B.E students if compared to others
The bca lab computers are outdated but they are upgrading them slowly

Bca course in our college has started from 2021 and the course is of 3 years so there are no records of placements But I is a known college it will bring best companies for placement but has record placement of 100 %since 3 years in its CSE department

Probably nothing.. the only thing I enjoyyy is while traveling to clg and returning.

Dislikes

Very strict towards attendance... That too it's not 75% it's 85% !!!!
Few lectures are very boring and not at all useful
Labs are not at all useful ... More broken computer than working computers!

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !

The college facilities and the sports complex are very well equipped for the stude
The infrastructure of the college is very large and very much needed for the students
The peers are very friendly to each other

The faculties are very much pressuring to the students
The climate here in mangalore is very bad
The hostel for boys does not allow you to go out after 10pm

Placement Experience:

We have not yet got placement interviews because we're in 3rd year. In the final year of the course they provide with placements for all the smart and intelligent students with high theory and practical knowledge
