Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is tough but interesting. Practical learning is of utmost importance. A great focus is put upon the practical learning with proper access to laboratories. To enhance the practical knowledge and potential of the students, research work, in every field, is also given a lot of importance.

Placement Experience

4

There is no system of placements in medicine and there is no lack of job opportunities. One can apply to work anywhere in India and abroad. To work abroad one has to pass the licensing exam of the particular country where one intends to work in. The internship was compulsory and rotated between various departments for one year.

College Events

4.5

A culture,an academic, and a sports fest are organized annually in the college with the active participation of all the respected college authorities. Cultural and sports events. Almost all of them are intra college and many events celebrate in this yearly event which excites all the most.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is quite feasible when compared to other private medical colleges in India. The fee which includes course fee, hostel fee, and mess fee came to around 3.5 lakh rupees annually. The fee agreed upon during admission remained constant.

Campus Life

4

We have ground for cricket, basketball, as well as badminton. We even have an indoor sports activity area on our campus. A week festival. including quiz, games, sports, cultural event, fashion show, dandiya night, blood donation camp, free health checkup, mehndi night, best from waste, artistic competition, etc

Alumni/Alumna

A good and strong student-alumni interaction will contribute to the overall development of the college as well as the students. But our college does not provide a proper platform for such kind of interactions and so there is no significant amount of interaction of students with their alumni.

Admission

After clearing the NEET PG exam cut off marks, apply online by filling the form with application fees. Forms are available after NEET-PG results out, on the official website of the college. Several merit list to go through to fill up with the quota allocation of seats and the document verification would be done.

Faculty

4.5

The teaching standard of college is quite efficient and progressive. All the teaching faculty of different departments are well qualified from professionalized colleges and are very knowledgeable and pro in their field of the department. They take an active interest in student's progress and learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.
