Entrance Preview
I wrote JEE mains for getting into this college. Although my scire was just 119 out of 360 i managed to get into it because of state quota and additional advantage of board examination marks. I opted for this college because it is tbe best college of Chhattisgarh and an institute of national importance. Being a domicile of Chhattisgarh it suited best for me.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was bey apt and upto tje point following national norms. The curriculum includes perfect blend from all the fields in just the right proportion. The syllabus is very well designed and is appropriately detailed. The electives in my field includes air pollution and control, robotics, non conventional sources of energy and various others.
Internships Opportunities
Internship for mechanical engineering is really a pain in ass here. Although placements are descent, very few companies come for paid intership and that is a major drawback in here.
Placement Experience
Placement here are descent ranging from 3.3 lakh to 8lakhs average being 5 lakhs. 60% of the people were placed in mechanical last year and reputed companies like mahindra, tata motors, Maruti suzuki, 3d plm, l&t, acc and many more come here for campus placement.
College Events

Fee Structure And Facilities
Right now the Tution fee is 70000 for a year which may increase. It is feasible right now being an institute of national importance. But if increased more than this i will definitely term it as expensive.

For general no scholarships are provided by college side but loan can be availed by anyone from tbe bank of out college thai is SBI.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are like big brothers. They are the only people to help you with each and every problem. The alumni network is also a connected one with lot of opportunities to interact with all the alumnus at various high level post.
Faculty
All the faculties are of Phd level except some adhoc faculties. All the faculties could not be described under same category as some of them are insane while some of them are exceptionally brilliant in their job. Most of the adhoc faculties are average in teaching. To summarize Nit Raipur is not a perfect place .
