Remarks

College management is good and easy to access any facilities. There are free medical facilities available as well. One bad thing about NIT Raipur is that they don't have enough hostels and thus only 30-35% students get the hostel facility on the basis of their grades in college.

Ans. Well, the answer to this question depends on your choice of discipline and score in the entrance exam. If you secured a good rank in the JCECE exam and a bit low rank in JEE Mains then it is recommended to opt for your favorite branch in BIT Sindri. If you are getting the same branch in NIT Raipur then placement figures will definitely fluctuate. Infrastructure: Talking about infrastructure, NIT Raipur is way better than BIT Sindri. Though the campus is BIT Sindri is large but the buildings, as well as the hostels, require a lot of renovation. Type of Institute: Apart from that, NIT is a national level institute while BIT Sindri is regional due to which NIT provides you better exposure. Faculties: The faculties at NIT colleges are well educated as well as experienced. At BIT Sindri, there is a lack of guidance due to the inefficiency of faculties in many subjects. So, if you decide to choose among both of these colleges, it is recommended to go through the placement records of the past few years as well as the type of companies visiting the campus. Comparison - Courses: Both Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) and Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) courses are highly sought after in India. If you are interested in further studies after completing Bachelors in Technology or getting into Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) then Electronics is a better choice. Placement opportunities in the Computer Science and Engineering branch are far better. So, choose the branch wisely. Comparison - Institutes: Most people are unaware of the fact that IIITs are way older than NITs. IIITs focuses specifically on the study of Information Technology which is not the case for NITs.
