As department is engage in research activities and publication student gets more and more exposer. Also have good contacts with industry which helps to get jobs for students.
Entrance Preview
University departmental entrance examination usually happen in every year in may. It is university autonomous department and good for electronic science.Department is very famous for VLSI, Embedded System and Communication courses.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted Embedded system as a main course for me. It covered C, C++ and Data Structure. Controller like ARM, PIC and 8051.AUtomation systems, Sensors and actuator.Operating system and concepts.
Internships Opportunities
For internship, college has very good relations with industires like Intel, Seagate, Saken, Imagination Technologies, Whirlpool etc. Every year all students gets internship. Stipend is banned from college side.
Placement Experience
As there is only 30 student batch every year. Almost all students get placement in good company. Few students go for higher research studies and Ph.D.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is government aided department so fees are very less. As I was category student complete fee waved for me. For open category student there is 30, 000+ fee for per year.Course is for two year.
Fees and Financial Aid
As it is government college all government scholarship is avaialble.All banks provide necessary loan for this course.
Alumni/Alumna
Department has very good network with alumni. THey also organised annual meetup for all.Many alumni are in good organisation keep student motivating.
Exam Structure
In department there is credit system each course has 2 two or 4 credit to earn. Student suppose to complete 100 credits in two years to complete his masters.After each quarter student suppose to undergo test to secure his/her credits.
Faculty
Faculty is very good almost all are Ph.D. and have more than 20yrs of teaching experience. Most of them are involved in research activity with different national, international organisation like ISRO. They always treat to nature each and every student equally.
