Remarks
The system is very flexible which is itself a pros and con for the same. Due to this changes can be implemented very easily and quickly but the same can result into a mess if not taken care of.
Entrance Preview
I gave IIT JEE and LPU entrance test NEST. The score was 710/1000 in NEST. LPU was close to my home town. Moreover my classmates also joined the same. So I got their company and family love too.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is satisfactory and up to the mark. The course syllabus is as per the industry standards. It is also updated on semester basis. There is also a separate department for Course Development and Research for the same purpose.
Internships Opportunities
No company comes for hiring for internship. The university is hiring itself for internships in the university itself. The staff is giving the short term crash courses too in the university. By this students can clear their backlogs if any and do the internship at the same time.
Placement Experience
Several companies like HCL,Bajaj,CTS,Infotech etc visited and hired students for the package of 3.5 lacks per annum. Many mega recruiters are visiting the university on regular basis and hiring students with good packages.
College Events
Various cultural and educational events are organized in the university on national and international levels. Conferences are also venue here at international level. Mega events like Coke studio,One world,One India,Explorica etc are held on regular basis.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is crystal clear. Its expensive upto 84500 per sem for the ones who want to pay. One can get many scholarships up to full fees waiver by getting meritorious marks,sports activities,cultural prizes, etc. So its completely upon you whether you want to pay full fees or score marks or excellence and get the scholarships.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarships are awarded based on merit in the qualifying exam,merit in the entrance exam,all scholarships given by government,national or international sports activity or prize.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is 1:10 for female: male. Hostel Parties are separate for boys and girls and faculty and students. Workshops etc are all conducted together for boys and girls irrespective of faculty,staff or students.Cultural societies are also there in Department of Student Affairs for handling all the events in the university. Tolerance with regards to gender is very suitable. No discrimination is done on any basis race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status there are special societies for anti ragging and any such discrimination on the above mentioned parameters.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are in abundance and are well equipped with everything. Whatever you want you pay for it and you get it. eg. single seater rooms,2 seater rooms,North indian food,south indian food,bengali food etc. Geyser,air conditioner,cooler,cup boards,beds,study table,chair,water coolers for filtered water etc all are available.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is very flexible and kept up to date as per the industry requirements every year. This year MCQs are added to the internal as well as final theory exams. The practicals are also haveing weightage for file write up and performance.
Faculty
The faculty is well qualified,co-operative and up to date regarding any developing trends in industry and parallel courses,short term workshops,training projects or competitive exams.
