Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum offers a lot to learn. The grades are based on quiz 1,2 and endsem which contribute to 20, 20 50 percent weightage while remaining 10 percent are for tutorial and assignment. The exams are frequent but the labs are chilled.

Placement Experience

Placement in iits offer a lot to students with highest salary in crores to good mean salary. Many companies come to recruit brightest brains of country. Institute also offers internship which is compulsory in final year and stipend depends on where you are for internship. The average stipend is 30000 rs per month.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible. As a government college fees is less than any other private colleges. Yearly it is approximately 2 lakh. And we have to pay monthly mess fees. Yes college provides full transparency in the fee-breakdown. Admission is secured as soon as you pay their yearly fees. No extra charges are required

Campus Life

Cultural festival - saarang, it is celebrated in January and it is the largest only students organised fest in India. Technical festival- shaastra, it is also celebrated in January and is more technology oriented and hosts many schools from South India. Gender ratio in Institute is poor as very less girls opt for engineering from iit. Workshops are great fun. Institute is mini India as students from all over country come here to study and there is great diversity. Sports is promoted in Institute.

Admission

I cleared JEE exam and my rank was 7000. First of all IIT has very safe campus,excellent in academics. I had to submit all my documents in two steps. And also had to fill my preference for the college as well as for branch. IIT Kanpur is very rich in culture also. And there are so many other option to explore like robotics, aeromodelling etc

the faculty of your college lectures for different course,but generally there are 3 lectures per week. Professors are excellent and also hardworking. They try to teach in very effective manner and also try to increase participation of students. Professors are very interactive in class as well as in personal also. They also clear our doubts time to time.

You work through real case studies, Harvard business simulations, and a 4-to-6-month corporate internship, so you aren't completely clueless on day one at an office. If your goal is a PhD or pure research, though, it leans a bit too practical and corporate rather than deeply academic.

They have highly qualified and experienced teachers.
For a sports enthusiast like me, having a ground is great in college is great.
There are various types of events conducted very often which provides us exposure academically, culturally, socially and it also helps our social networking and connections.

Dislikes

I think infrastructure can be improved and maintained well, than it is now.
Placement services should be improved too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCom because I was a commerce student in my PUC, and I wanted to master in the same field. This course has shaped my knowledge on accounts and finance which has been some sort of a passion for me. Accounts, tally, finance, are the studies that are to be applied by anyone who's working with numbers, finances or in banks, account sectors etc which I'm doing currently, and it has really helped me a lot. The only improvement in this course that I seek is practical applications and workshops that would definitely help students enhance their skills.

Likes

very first thing i like in the college is the wifi network,
the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Likes

Campus is amazing lot of open spaces and maintains all the greenary
The faculty is good as they all are practicing architects
The sports facility is also really good as there r lot of tournaments

Dislikes

Work load given is a lot and the pressure of submissions are unbareable
They expect a lot frm 1st sem students and forget the fact tht we jus started
Lot of teacher student rivalry and affecting the overall passing of the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ayurveda is holistic science in total to study about. Ayurveda helps us a lot when it comes to the application and clinical practice point of view. Ayurveda aims at mainly "Swasthasya swasthir rakshanam, athurasya vikar prashamanam" our entire curriculum is based on the aim of ayurveda which states protecting the health of a healthy person and also reversing the pathology of the diseased individual. Ayurveda mainly aims at the Doshas(vatta, pitta and Kapha) to treat the pathology and also to maintain the health of the healthy person. Ayurveda language is sanskrit so 1st year Sanskrit should be learnt properly. The term vise examination and periodic assessment are helping us to revise and learn the concept better.

This college has the best infrastructure in the area. They classrooms are huge enough to hold the capacity of at least 150 students. All the labs are highly equipped and all the classes have smart class projectors.

SAIACS is one of the best institutes

Remarks:

I did a two year Master of Divinity course from the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies. The college is a top spot for studying God and for the mental and spiritual growth of a being. The college is pretty much affordable and the quality of teaching is also good. On top of that, the faculty was vell qualified.

I choose this college because I got computer science branch in IIT and fees is also low for me as a middle class student because I search in other nit have 2 lacks fee for one year for sc and fill this fee at the starting but here I fill 58500 in 1st sem and remaining in 2nd semester so it's And I applied for IIT Bombay here I choose chemical engineering but required rank is 679bbut my is 927 that's why not selected. And admission process of iit dharwad is very smooth if students selected in joosa rounds so fill the fee throgh online before reaching the college and submit required documents like 10th 12 marksheet aadhar card pan card fee receipt and joosa admission letter that's it admission done...Read More

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

I applied for CSE and MnC branches of all the 1st and 2nd gen IITs along with the 3rd gen IITs, my rank was about 4.8k so I knew I could get CSE only in the 3rd gen IITs out of which I felt IIT Dharwad was the best. My main reason for choosing IIT Dharwad was CSE, also that it was mentored by IIT Bombay, so the syllabus is quite tried and tested, also Dharwad is near to the tech hubs of the country like bengaluru, pune, mumbai, hyderabad which is good for someone who is really passionate about CSE.
