I did not find any faults with the university management during my studies over there.
Entrance Preview
After finishing my UG, I wanted to do PG in Aeronautical So I Choose this university over anna university to do my PG.
Course Curriculum Overview
First Semester is just the recap of whatever we have studied in UG. So it was rather simpler considering further semester where we were introduced to some new topics in the field of aeronautics. In the final semester I got to do my project.
Internships Opportunities
I got a free intern with hosur taneja and there I worked in process shop. The process shop is for processing the raw materials to make it usable for aircraft manufacturing. They mainly concentrated their process using chemical process to remove the hydrogen content in the raw material.
Placement Experience
InfoTech from Bangalore came for the interview of UG students and selected students. On the basis of how they did well in their academics and in the personal interview.
College Events
Every week any of the department in the university celebrate and promote arts and cultural based events inside the college campus. Every week students were allowed to organize concerts in the college open auditorium.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships provided by the government were available at the university. First graduation scholarship forms are provided by the university office.
Hostel Facilities
I stayed in PG room in the nearby kelambakkam village. I shared a house with four of my friends who studied with me at the university. The rent for the house was 8000 rupees. there were many good hotels and mess in that area and the monthly expense for food will be around 2000 rupees.
Alumni/Alumna
My seniors and juniors were very helpful and friendly throughout my two years at the university. We had organized many events inside and outside of the university campus.
Exam Structure
The end semester exams are conducted six months once and it will be for hundred marks. But for the results the marks scored for hundred marks are converted to fifty and additional marks are added form the internal fifty marks.
Faculty
The faculties were good and helpful in making the students study. The examples provided by them are very helpful in understanding the subject. All the faculties handled the subjects with ease and were friendly.
