Remarks

It did not matter that I was not a regular student of the college. The college and the faculties paid equal attention to us and were also friendly towards us. I was able to complete my education due to the support of the college and the faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for distance education was exactly similar to regular education. The exam structure and dates were also similar. Students were given study material by the college and there were online classes taken by the faculties from time to time for those who were studying the correspondence course.

Placement Experience

5

Placement opportunities were also given to correspondence students and they were asked to attend the campus so that the proper training and information were given to the students regarding the job opportunities for the organizations that would arrive at the campus for interviews at a certain time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the course was feasible and was a little less than the regular course since we were not using many of the facilities that were present at the campus grounds like the regular students. However, we had the same time frame and the deadline for the payment of the fee.

Campus Life

Even though I was studying a correspondence course, I was in the same town and hence was able to attend many extra-curricular activities that occurred in the college. Students studying in distance education were invited for each of the celebrations that happened in the college.

Admission

The Karnataka State Open University provided both regular courses as well as distance courses for different subjects. I applied for a Master in Arts in English as a correspondence course as I could not attend regular college.

Faculty

5

The faculties who are engaged with us through the online medium very very nice and patient and understood that we were completely dependent on technology to get complete knowledge about the subject. In every way possible so that we can get the same amount of knowledge as the regular course students.

The knowledge provided is quite useful during our work in pharmacy . Overall the course curriculum is good . But there are few aspects which can be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I was interested in ECE course since I liked working around chips and was intrigued by how they worked, which is what led me to choosing this course. The curriculum is not the best for real-world applications since the syllabus is pretty outdated. The teaching does involve smart boards and can be visual as well, but it can be utilized better by the professors. A semester lasts for around 5 months, with the last month only involving SEE (Semester End Examinations) and the first four months consisting of 2 CIE tests in the 2nd and 4th months. It also involves practical examinations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always wanted to join medical services.Although during my neet ug entrance I could not make it to mbbs but dental was the choice only left I dont regret my choice because its way too vast for anyone Curriculum gives you basic knowledge but clinical practice actually prepares for the real world.Dentistry is all about art and skills I feel areas for improvement is only the exam factor.Number of exams are too much and they should reduce the exam pressure into few Frequency of exams are 4 exams per year and in final year 8 exams including part 1 and part 2 Difficulty level is too much, every exam requires thorough knowledge of the subject

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
