A FRUITFUL AND MEMORABLE JOURNEY

Aryabhatta College came in existence in the year 2014-15. It was established in 1973 but was formerly known as Ram Lal Anand College (Evening). I choose Aryabhatta College for my admission as it has relatively new infrastructure and a good and reputed faculty for the course of BMS and BBE. One of the major plus points about the college is its location as its located adjacent to the South Campus of Delhi University. Many major and reputed colleges are nearby to the college. Although, BMS course is relatively new in the college and but the faculty here is really dedicated towards teaching and are really helpful. It is less known among the people but it will be well known in the coming years. Another good thing about the college is its campus, It has two main blocks with medium sized ground. The campus is well maintained and new blocks are under construction. I read about the college on Instagram pages of DUupdates and articles on CollegeDunia and the reviews were good as well.

BMS curriculum is same across all the colleges in Delhi University. The curriculum is well structured and the course offers knowledge about important subjects related to Management. The course is divided into 6 semester system. I chose the course as its a new and professional course that is being offered in Delhi University. It has great career options and varied scope as one can pursue specializations in their final years in the fields of HR, Finance and Marketing. One can pursue MBA, MMS and other courses afterwards. The faculty is well versed and has great experience. The faculty:student ratio is 1:20 across all years. The faculty is highly qualified and most of them having PhD's in their courses. the teaching method is quite good and we have regular classes everyday.The syllabus is completed on time and with proper tests and assessments. The exams are held once per semester in the months of December and May for odd and even semester respectively.

MAYMYINDIA (COMP SCIENCE)- 15000 PER MONTH FOR 6 MONTHS 2.DIGIFUSE ( BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERN)=PERFORMANCE BASED STIPEND 3.YOUNITY (PR AND SALES) - 1-12 MONTHS WITH 1.5K /MONTH STIPEND 4. NOISYLION (DATA ANALYST AND CONTENT) - 1 MOTH WITH 5-10K STIPEND Many other opportunities are offered regularly through the placement cell.

The first batch in the course of BMS passed in the year 2020. They were provided with placement opportunities and internships by the placement cell in the college. The packages were moderate like 4-5 lacs PA. Third year students are eligible for sitting in the placements. Companies like KPMG,JARO EDUCATION have visited the college for placements. Various internships were offered to students by companies like zomato, wesettle, URI,MapmyIndia etc. The data of the placements will be available soon. Personally, I plan to pursue Sports management after my graduation.

The annual fees for the course varies around 22000-24000. we have to pay the exams fees as well which varies from 1100 to 1300 once per semester. There are provisions for concession in the annual fees for students who face financial difficulties. The college allows students students to fill forms for the application in the concession provision. The fees is moderate as compared to other courses in the University. The various centrally sponsored scholarships are open for application annually. The college has various clubs and cells which towards providing students with internships and placement.

The campus life is really great at Aryabhatta College. The campus is lush green and new blocks are being constructed. Taregna Block is really good due to its built and the area around the campus makes the college environment more ambient. Various fests are organised in the college by Clubs and societies throughout the year. The main annual fest in the college is organised in the month of March and the fest receives moderate level of engagement. The college has good sports infrastructure and it offers sports scholarships for the students. The ground is moderate in size and its being made better every year. The classrooms are well ventilated and lit but the campus doesn't have air conditioners. Proper cleanliness and hygiene is maintained by the authorities. Many societies like Enactus, E-cell, Marketing cell etc are run by the students. The college is nearby to famous places like Satyaniketan, Hauz khas and the nearest Metro is South campus which is about 1.5 km away.
