Patanjali University Haridwar, MA, English

Remarks

According to me,the college is very well academically as well as non-academically as it has various events organised to build the overall personality of students. The faculty is good and all the facilities provided by the college are satisfactory.

Course Curriculum Overview

The two year degree is divided into 4 semesters. The course is built by following the prescribed curriculum and is really enriching. The students get trained to be real resources for any institute they join in their future. The exams are taken after every semester and are really tough and lengthy.

Placement Experience

The placements are not provided for every course offered by the University. However, the students have options to further study and gain expertise in their subject area and apply for job profiles on their own.The alumni have been placed in good companies from the college and also on their own efforts and are earning reputation in their career.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees for M.A.English is INR 61,000 which is feasible and very much less as compared to other universities in the same state. The total fees includes tuition fees and other miscellaneous charges .The students who are from the minority categories are given concessions and scholarships for the same.

Campus Life

The students study in equal gender ratios and also there is no gender discrimination. The college has celebrations like annual days and national festivals which are given due importance. The extra curricular activities includes Yoga sessions and other sports activities important for one's well being.

Admission

The college admissions are based on the marks scored in the Bachelors with English major which should be atleast 50 percentage. The admission procedure involves filling up of application form with other documents and then the shortlisting is done based upon the marks scored in the Bachelors degree.

Faculty

The team of faculty is very experienced and highly qualified. The teachers have very good knowledge and are extremely resourceful to gain knowledge about the subject. From providing notes to providing life changing lessons, the teachers are really cooperative and supportive to students.

BEST NAAC A++ COLLEGE IN UTTARAKHAND

Likes

The campus has decent infrastructure, a library, labs and a supportive learning environment.
Faculty members are helpful, and campus life provides opportunities for social interaction and personal growth.

Dislikes

Placements and internship opportunities could be improved, especially for MBA students.

Placement Experience:

At RIT Roorkee, MBA students generally become eligible for placements in the final year. Companies may offer roles in marketing, finance, HR and sales placement opportunities and salary packages depend on the company and student's skills. The highest package, average package and placement percentage vary each year students should improve their communication skills, practical knowledge and internship experience to get better opportunities. After completing my MBA, I plan to join a good company and build my career in management.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To be honest they focus more on pratical rather then theoritical. W went for many industrial visit, like cocola, iits, parleg and many other 1st half classes are for theoretical and 2nd half for training. I think they should make the schedule little lighter but yes they prepare us for the real world challanges that is for sure/

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

Patanjali University, Haridwar

I chose to attend university of patanjali as it offers subjects not all colleges do, they focus on vedic education. And their campus is really clean and green with lush green lawns and gardens, they have excellent facilities for sports and yoga, they've got a huge hall (Yog Bhawan) where one can perform various indoor activities such as yoga, basketball, badminton, gymnastics, skateboarding, kabbadi, etc also apart from the clean and peaceful campus the mess food their is very good unlike others, they serve pure veg (no onion, garlic) food and seasonal beverages such as lassi, chaach, etc .We have to recite sanskrit prayers before eating. This college is perfect for someone who wants to pursue yoga as everyone can be seen practising yoga any time of the day. For admission they conduct a exam for which the forms have to be filled during july, after passing the exam there is a seven day shivir where they test your physical capability followed by an interview....Read More
