Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum focusses on Ayurveda and ancient surgical procedures. The emphasis is laid not only on curing diseases but also on preventing such diseases through suitable lifestyle changes. It heals the person physically as well as spiritually. The course is full of practicals and less theory.

Placement Experience

Most of the placments are for medical professionals. About 50 per cent of the students are able to find jobs. There are internship opportunities as well. The internships are given by some big hospitals and nursing homes. The average stipend of such internships is around rupees 25,000

College Events

Most of the events which are held are related to health care only. The events are organised to encourage healthy lifestyle changes. Sometimes events related to yoga are also organised. Certified instructors come and teach us various yoga asanas and tell us their importance as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for this course is quite high as compared to other courses offered by this college. But the main reason behind this is that this college mainly specialises in Ayurveda and ancient healing techniques which is not available in other colleges. The curriculum, the facilities, the teachers are all worth the money spent here. The fee for BAMS course is around 2,15,000 for a year.

Campus Life

Sports are not played here regularly but there is an annual sports day which is organised by the college. The infrastructure is well built. The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated. There are a Patanjali research institute and a dissection hall as well.

Admission

Admission is granted for BAMS course in Patanjali University after qualifying the NEET (National Entrance cum Eligibility Test) exam. After clearing the exam, the candidates are called for counselling in the order of their merit. After fulfilling all the requirements and completing the procedures, the admission is granted.

Faculty

The faculty is decent and supportive. They are highly educated and experienced in their respective fields. They provide us with class notes and also assist us while doing practicals. They are cooperative and friendly with us.

A Great Learning Experience with Good Industry Exposure

Likes

The college provides a vibrant campus environment with regular events, fests, club activities and opportunities to participate in different extracurricular activities. The overall campus atmosphere is energenic and provides good opportunities to stud
The faculty members are supportive and approchable and the college provides opportunities for students to develop various skills.
I appreciate the infrastructure and learning facilities available on campus, along with peaceful environment of Dehradun.

Dislikes

The placement process could be made more transparent by providing students with more regular information about placement opportunities.
There is scope for increasing practical and industrial oriented exposure through more guest lectures and interactions with industry professionals.
Coordination and communication regarding some academic and extracurricular activities could be improved so that students recieve information well in advance and can plan their participation accordingly.

Placement Experience:

The college provides campus placement opportunities with students becoming eligible in the final year. Various companies visit the campus for roles in marketing, sales, management and other business related profiles. The placement cell also supports students through placements drives and career guuidance. Along with campus placements internships and industry exposure help students improve their employability. After completing my BBA, I plan to persue a career in digital marketing and gain practical industry experience.

Great Learning Experience with Strong Industry Exposure.

Likes

Campus and student Life , There are many Domain , activity , Hobby Clubs that gives opportunity to participate beyond academics
the Faculty members are supportive, experienced and approachable , practical learning and presentations make classroom more engaging
The university provides good opportunity for extra curricular , industry exposure and internships

Dislikes

we have small campus but it is actually good and really pretty
There are no clubs for Cricket playing Students

Placement Experience:

Social internship starts from the 1st year followed by a summer internship in 2nd year. Placements offer up to 40L LPA, with an average of 8.7L LPA and 13.5L LPA for the top 20% with good exposure and more.

I came to RIT Roorkee from Bihar for my MBA and I want to write this review specifically for students from Bihar and UP

Likes

The campus environment is good and you get students from different places, so you get a chance to interact with people outside your home state.
Faculty support can be good, especially when you are regular with your studies and approach them when you need help.
For parents from Bihar, having accommodation within/around the campus can make the transition easier.

Dislikes

Hostel and college rules can feel strict for students who want a lot of freedom.
You will need to put in your own effort for coding, communication skills, internships and other career preparation. The college alone cannot guarantee a good career.
The environment is fairly structured, which can be helpful if you want to stay focused on your studies.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at Roorkee Institute of Technology are quite diverse, with a dedicated Training and Placement Cell that supports students through resume building, mock interviews, career guidance and recruitment drives. According to the institute’s current placement information, the 2026 batch has recorded placements across different sectors, with an average package of around ₹8 LPA and the highest package of ₹22 LPA. The institute also lists recruiters such as Cognizant, Finastra, Sopra Steria, KPMG, EY and Voltas.

Likes

The very first thing liked about my college is its location . Dehradun is in itself a very peacefull place. Second thing is campus , the campus contains all types of sports activities .
The professors of the college are phd holders and have real industrial experience , which helps me to connect to real world experience with theoritical lectures.
There is no discrimination in the campus , no matter from which state do you belong , you will feel comfortable in the campus.

Dislikes

The most disliked thing is the unpredictable weather of Dehradun.

Placement Experience:

The placements of university are very good because there is a career development cell present in the campus, which helps every student for getting placed. There are 350+ recruiters which visits our campus for recruitment. Recruiters like Tech Mahindra , HCL Tech , ICICI , Wipro , Asian Paints , Deloitte , ITC , Unilever , Infosys , etc. comes for recruitment every year . Recruiters comes from sectors like FMCG , Banking , Tech , Consulting , e-commerce , etc. Approx 98% students get placed and they are trying to increase this percentage. Highest package touched is impressive which is 40 Lpa , average package is 8.7 Lpa , about average top 20% offers was of 13.5Lpa. My plans after getting degree is to get placed with valuable package and after sometimes I want to start my own business.

Likes

i like the teaching methodology of the professors
the environment of the college is very positive
each & every faculty member are very helpfull

Dislikes

city area is small, but there is many things to explore
college is very strict about attendance but it makes you punctual
you will get limited opportunity but that are excellent

Placement Experience:

There is a separate & totally dedicated Traning & placement cell. In all branches they are providing excellence placement opportunities. in the last year of my btech, approx 50+ companies visited with great packages.

A Balanced MBA experience with Good Campus Life and Industry Exposure at UPES

One of the best thing about the college is its green and well mainatained infrastructure. The campus is surrounded by nature creating a peaceful and positive learning environment.

Placement Experience:

Placement at UPES are decent and students generally become eligible for campus placement from the final year. Companies from different sectors visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in management, logistics and consulting.

Likes

The surroundings are really appreciated .But the only negative thing is tiediness in the campus
My college is very simple and its going in very smooth .Campus gives good feel to the students.Here people from out of state is also there so socially also it is good.
Faculty is also good it contains very highly educated faculty .

Dislikes

Surroundigs untiedness i.e the surroundings not clean
Lots of student union rushh makes the surrounding untiedy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose econmics for my further studies, as I have curiosities to learn more about economics .Real.life examples expalnation influnced me most to learn and study economics. National Eduction Policy boosts the learning power of the students which is improtant for further academic progress.

College Journey

Likes

Discipline in our college is too good, among students as well as teachers
In our college, children are taught different beneficial activities.
Our college also teaches well, all lectures are on time.

Dislikes

Since it is a government College, politics also goes on in the college at some places which causes trouble.
The exams are very tough which all the students have problem with and they also check it strictly.
Placements cost only 1 or 2%, nothing else.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am preparing for a government job, so I took admission in this course just to get a graduation degree and not for any other reason. There should be some improvement in the lab and also in the exam pattern. The timing of our exam is 2:30 hours which is less time because the exam is lengthy.

A good and big campus area, neat clean from everywhere.
A big library from which you can buy book (library fee: ₹500)
A well maintained computer lab having lots of computer with latest technology.

Dislikes

The classrooms are little bit old and need renovation.
There is no air conditioning in the classrooms

Placement Experience:

In this college the students are eligible for campus placement in the second last semester of there course, and the companies like wipro,TCS etc gives offers to them. The highest package is 4.5 lac in our college. The percentage of students should be above 60 percent to get a campus placement.

I chose to attend university of patanjali as it offers subjects not all colleges do, they focus on vedic education. And their campus is really clean and green with lush green lawns and gardens, they have excellent facilities for sports and yoga, they've got a huge hall (Yog Bhawan) where one can perform various indoor activities such as yoga, basketball, badminton, gymnastics, skateboarding, kabbadi, etc also apart from the clean and peaceful campus the mess food their is very good unlike others, they serve pure veg (no onion, garlic) food and seasonal beverages such as lassi, chaach, etc .We have to recite sanskrit prayers before eating. This college is perfect for someone who wants to pursue yoga as everyone can be seen practising yoga any time of the day.
