Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was well-curated. The course focussed on thoroughly understanding the concepts. The course was a combination of theory and practical. We were taught the theory part with the help of case studies.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are quite good. Our college works closely with companies from different sectors and invites them to hire students from our college. The internship opportunities are provided but they are unpaid. Top recruiters include Amazon, Wipro and HCL. The students can avail an average package of rupees 4 lakhs per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is reasonable and can be afforded by almost everyone. For my course fee was around 53,000 rupees for a year. This is not a very big amount as compared to the fee charged by other institutions. The facilities provided by the college are up to the mark and worth spending this amount of money.
Campus Life
Our college pays special attention to sports. Sports are essential for physical well being and our college understands this completely. Thus, our college has several sports grounds and sports like volleyball, badminton and chess is played. The infrastructure is quite good. There are seminar halls, auditorium, modern computer labs and other well-equipped facilities.
Admission
In order to take admission at Uttarakhand Technical University, I had to clear the Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination which is usually conducted during the months of April-June. After clearing the exam I was called for the counselling session and then after fulfilling all the requirements I secured admission.
Faculty
The faculty of the college was highly knowledgeable and experiences. Many of them had a doctoral degree and several years of experience. Some of them were relatively not so experienced but were up to date with current syllabi. All faculty members were very encouraging.
