Remarks

One great advantage that the students get by enrolling into APU is that it provides a well backed and technologically developed research center for students, students pursuing Ph.D and Doctorate courses benefit from this a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very vast and in-depth. Students are taught how the day to day phenomenon are influenced by various economic factors and how the economy as a whole works as a cohesive unit. Exams are scheduled time to time and they aren't easy, one has to understands the concepts to ace an exam.

Placement Experience

APU provides students with plenty of internship opportunities and a number of renowned organisations come for internship fairs at APU, however the average placements are just above average and clock around 3-3.5 lakh p.a. Students mainly get jobs on there own accord.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the course is 4.2 Lakhs and the fees structure provides enough flexibility to students. Considering the value that the University provides the fees is feasible and justified.The infrastructure is good as well, so the students do get the benefits of paying a hefty amount.The average salary for campus placements ranges from Rs. 25000 ? 30000 per month.

Campus Life

The campus environment is pretty chill and students indulge in lots of activities. There are a lot of student clubs where a number of events are organised throughout the year. The University has students from throughout the country so we get to learn a lot about different cultures.

Admission

I chose the Azim Premji University due to it's wide variety of courses offered. The admission process is pretty simple, I had to appear for an Entrance Test which tested my quant,verbal and logical skill. I had passed the test with flying colors which ensured my admission into this prestigious University.

The faculty of the college is very experienced and provides students a multi-dimensional study pattern. The professors don't take teaching as a burden and make sure that students gasp the concept rather than just making them mug up things.

Profiles are Business Analyst, Marketing, HR, Finance Analyst. Around 90-95% students get placed.

Likes

very first thing i like in the college is the wifi network,
the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Review for a Future aspirant

We have a temporary campus .which was taken as rent in goverment engeneering college raichur .and permanent campus was yet to finish by the time juniors come the permanent campus will be getting finished.just needed the proper campus no improvments
The campus life was not as expected by a student because here the cluns are not very active like in any other colleges , u can enjot a lot with your friends in your hostel.
Every branch has a faculty adviser we can meet them and discuss our problems with them .the faculry were very good they were well experienced ,they teach in general way as any teacher does on a digital board.

Dislikes

The placement cell is not that good , the students were not getting places for good amount of package as expected .
The labs were not well maintained that should be resolved that is the main problem in this college as well as library we have a very small library which is in a size of a regular class
Hostel was not within the campus which makes some difficulty to walk through the streets with roaming buses and cars and bikes , in our college boy girl ration was very less it is 1: 7 like that.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for taking interships and they get placed in 7th semester and have to leave campus after 8th semester the highest would somewhere aroubd 20 lpa and avg would be 9 to 10 lpa . I plan to do Mtech in any reputed college by writing gate . The percentage of studebts getting placed are 70 %

Thoughts on BMSSA

Likes

Campus is amazing lot of open spaces and maintains all the greenary
The faculty is good as they all are practicing architects
The sports facility is also really good as there r lot of tournaments

Dislikes

Work load given is a lot and the pressure of submissions are unbareable
They expect a lot frm 1st sem students and forget the fact tht we jus started
Lot of teacher student rivalry and affecting the overall passing of the students

Course curriculum is amazing but again the aheets given and the expected submissions for a 1st yesr is too much and the pressure is high .the teaching methods r basically every 10 students r allotted to s mentor who then guides them thru the design process

The teaching faculty is the best here all the doctors who come to teach us are well trained and knowledgeable
The lab facilities are also very good here, we are having good access to the lab also
We are also getting easy access to the Hospital whenever we want to which is giving us good clinical knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ayurveda is holistic science in total to study about. Ayurveda helps us a lot when it comes to the application and clinical practice point of view. Ayurveda aims at mainly "Swasthasya swasthir rakshanam, athurasya vikar prashamanam" our entire curriculum is based on the aim of ayurveda which states protecting the health of a healthy person and also reversing the pathology of the diseased individual. Ayurveda mainly aims at the Doshas(vatta, pitta and Kapha) to treat the pathology and also to maintain the health of the healthy person. Ayurveda language is sanskrit so 1st year Sanskrit should be learnt properly. The term vise examination and periodic assessment are helping us to revise and learn the concept better.

Admission:

I had opted this course because I am interested in research field. the factors that made me choose institution aa it is best for playing courses which has the high infrastructure need for research. Steps college as a part of admission procedure are as follows to apply for CUCET examination after qualifying in that examination we will be called for counselling, in counselling they will prepare merit list according to the marks obtained in the future of examination and 12th marks according to that they will provide seat for us.

This college has the best infrastructure in the area. They classrooms are huge enough to hold the capacity of at least 150 students. All the labs are highly equipped and all the classes have smart class projectors.

To gain admission in this college you have to first get the admission form which is available at the campus of the college. You can also download the admission form available at the official website. You have to submit a sum of rupees 1000 with your application form then a merit list is prepared on the basis of your entrance examination marks, interview marks, group discussion marks and your academic records.

Why Azim Premji University?

I applied to other universities like KREA, and Delhi University. I got confirmed admission from KREA University and partial from DU. The main reasons for choosing Azim Premji University over KREA and DU, was 1. The faculty present in the university for economics was good. 2. KREA did not offer me the kind of concepts I was interested to study and did not seem to have the same approach in teaching methodlogy. 3. APU had an inclusive, inter-disciplinary approach that DU and KREA could not offer 4. I am in the Bangalore campus, which also attracted me to the university. I applied to Ashoka University as well and got rejected, the main reason was I messed up my interview as it was my first ever interview and I got really stressed and blanked out. Their admission required me to write a statement of purpose and few essays, which I got through. The admission process of APU is through an entrance test conducted by the university itself. It also asks for essays and statement of purpose. Having a good score at the entrance test and good and unbiased essays, and a good grasp of my hifh school concepts clearly especially in the subject I wanted to pursure helped me get in.
