Remarks

RIE is one of the best colleges if you want to be a teacher in any field. The curriculum is just right and teaches all the basics properly. Apart from that the internship opportunities are lucrative.

Course Curriculum Overview

RIE is one of the top colleges to apply to if you want to be a teacher (PRT, PGT or TGT). The course that I opted for was an integrated course of B.Sc and B.Ed. It is a 4 year course that has a variety of subjects like Biology, Political science, Zoology, Physics etc. Also, the pre internship program at Navodaya Vidyalaya are a highlight and helps the students a lot to gain practical knowledge.

Placement Experience

A lot of big schools come for placements. Schools like Doon Public School, Jawahar Navodaya Schools, etc. There were a lot of internship facilities given by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalas in different parts of India. Also they paid good stipends. Additionally, there was a placement cell that helped us with CV building and mock interviews.

College Events

RIE hosts a lot of events throughout the year. The Annual Sports Event, Hindi Pakhwara Diwas and Prakriti Mela are some of the special events hosted in our college. Apart from that Hindi and English debate competitions and Quizes also take place regularly to keep the students active.

Fee Structure And Facilities

RIE is a very affordable college. During my batch the fees was 45, 000 per annum which included accommodation, food as well as tuition fees. There was an instalment system where the students could pay the fees semester-wise.

Campus Life

Sports activities and Cultural events are a big highlight at RIE. There were various clubs that students could choose to earn more credits. There were more girls than boys in our course. The ratio was 70:30 approximately. There were Women Safety cells and Anti-Ragging Cells to protect the students.

Admission

The admission procedure for RIE is very basic. You have to fill up the online form and you will be called for the interview if you meet the eligibility criteria. The eligibility depends on the marks the student has scored in 10+2 board exams of CBSE or ICSE.

The faculty at RIE is very good. They are super helpful teachers who are always available in and outside of class to assist students with academics. They also gave very helpful and relevant notes and study material that helped us prepare for exams.

Likes

the class timings are really flexible that is maximum 5 hours in a day
there are a lot of fun events in college every other day
the male to female ratio is approx 1:1 and both genders jam well with each other

Dislikes

the money factor i would say is one thing which doesnt add up if placements are considered
the freedom provided here might not be the best for everyone u need to have self control over yourself
people here can get too entitled and the pda inside might bother you but you will find your people

the cirriculum is designed in a way such that most of the outdated and uselss things are removed this year and the labs of each subjects help you well enough to dive deeper into the application of the subject . some areas for improvement can be removing unnecessary subjects like manufacturing process for cse students . main exams are held every 3 months and the difficulty is moderate

The faculty is very helpful and they will often clear doubts
There are a lot of fests and lot of opportunities for the students to show their skills
Teaching methods are good and they will always take feedback

Sometimes the subjects are a little bit difficult to cope with
It is mostly research heavy which makes it slightly difficult

I liked the subjects that were provided and the topics covered under it. It is very relevant to the field. All our internal assessments help us related it with real-life. The frequency and timing for exams is good

The campus placements is very good and the head of placement department Dr Abhishek meel sir provide training to students about interview and how to make cv and resume for good industrial approach. The average package is 5 lpa to 8 lpa from tge campus placements program

The faculty member are knowledgeable and supportive. They help students in academic as well as practical learning
The College Campus is clean and provide a good learning environment.

Palacement opportunity can be improved by inviting more companies to the campus
More practical workshop and industry interaction.
Some administrative take time and could be made more efficient

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courts circulum covers the basic concept well and helps student understand the subject however some topic we love dated and there should be more focused on practical learning and industry is relevant skills. The exam are conducted regularly and are murdered difficultly over ruled the courts is useful but it can be improved by adding more hands on training and updated content

Journey in Few Words

Likes

The place is not only promoting studies they are also promoting the Talent by organising various events where they learn and develop other skills.
The Girls to Boy ration is good - 40:60.
The campus is also fine not very premium not very bad. If you're a good place in budget constraints you can opt for this.

Dislikes

They are little focused more towards money. for example when there is attendance less than 75% still if Student pay the fees they allow him to sit in exam.
Teachers can be more better. My experience with the staff is not very amazing. A lot of time i corrected some the teachers for certain topics

Placement Experience:

- Here the placements starts in the beginning of the 4 year. Campus placements are offered and it's not bad. Even we'll get some internship opportunities in 4 year before college ends - In my year the highest package is 14LPA in Mahindra

Girl over boy ratio is very less which also put impact on interaction with another gender
Teaching techniques of over faculty in my college the just scroll the pdf and tell about topics
Result delay is very common problem in my college

Placement Experience:

Form 5 th semester students become eligible for compus placement. Tcs , wipro ,infosys, jk cement, wonder cement these companies visited and they provide average package 4 to 5 lack per year. Through past record highest package is around 33 lack and average package 4 to 5 lack per year Minimum percentage for Good company is 7 cgpa . My plan after getting The degree is i go for masters in technology

An overview of MNIT

Likes

Being a Government national college, the diversity is very vast and it helps us understand about the different communities and cultures.
The college provides very educated professors who help you achieve your passion and enhance your vision. They provide information regarding the books you could refer which usually doesn’t happen in other colleges or universities.
The college assigns a group of 10 students to a particular mentor who guides you not only through technical vision but also in the mental health of the student.

Dislikes

Being a south indian, I wasn’t fluent in hindi. This made a hinderence to my study life. But the professors started explaining each class in english later on after my request
The less number of placements could be an issue
The end time for girls is 10pm which is according to me a decent timing. But I think they should atleast let the parcels come past the college main gate after 10. Because the boys can collect it from there but the girls cannot.

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements provided by the college. Students shall be adopting for placements in their final years. The visited companies are Apple, JP Morgan, Meesho, DE Shaw, Salesforce, Adobe, Airtel, Amazon, Bajaj motors and so on. Highest salary id 64LPA, average is 18.39LPA for the CSE branch. The overall percentage of students getting placed is 82% for both BTech and BArch with an average package of 13.2LPA. I shall be trying to get placed.

Fees is little bit too high but according to the facility it's pretty good
You have to be punctual or you will be sent home
Always follow rules and regulations and if you don't you will be sent back or asked to leave the college

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester you become eligible for the placement the companies visited the college are the oberoi Uday Vilas trident in many more big companies have visited The highest package after you completed the internship and get the permanent job can be around 18 lakhs per year if you go abroad hand in India you can get up to 10 15 lakhs according to your work you do in the company The percentage of students getting placement as 95% After I get the degree I get the internship from the college and then the placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exam is conducted on time. No issues with that. The difficulty can be subjected. 80% of the paper is from the syllabus that is taught. 20% can be there to test your knowledge. Total 3 exams will be there. No semester system. Final exams carry the most weight. Have 20 marks mcq and 80 marks theory.

The making of a RIEan

RIE conducts own entrance test consisting of reasoning ability, teaching aptitude and english and the seats are distributed as per the population of states with highest number of seats allotted to UP and rajasthan and the students need to apply as per the domicile state they belong to, anyone who have passed 12th can apply but the rank list is prepared on basis of 60% marks of entrance+40% marks of 12th. I applied for AU and BHU and got there admission but wanted an integrated course so that I can have a BEd done too that's why I chose this option and most of my teachers suggested for RIE because BEd was one the plus points from this institution. Also the course was worth evrything. Maybe other universities where I made were a brand but where I got it has a better success rate of students as per me. One thing that I got to know that in other universities you have to leave one or two subjects thus it narrows your option of choice of subject for masters but since here you have all those subjects till 4 year thus it's a plus point as per me you can apply for any subject for masters....Read More

Know about RIE

I took up admission here in 2023 this was the first batch of ITEP.Admission was taken up by NCET exam which was moderate in difficulty level.All the datails was updated on the ncet.samart.ac.in. They informed only 4 days before the exam. Same with the admission process they informed only one or two days before the admission which cause a lot of problems as we have to complete our documents in one or two days only, it was very hectic processs on that 2 days to complete the documents and travel to the college. They should inform atleast 5-6 days before the admission. This was the only thing I was dissapointed with and rest the college has good atmosphere.
