Remarks

Studying from the Central University of Orissa in the course of Mass Communication and Journalism has been a great boost to my career for which I will always be indebted to my college and my faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is set for two years and included course works as well as practical work for different subjects. The practical work is also designed to ensure that students will be able to work in their desired field after completing the course.

Placement Experience

5

Placements are very necessary for each and every student and without a proper placement opportunity to can become hard for freshers to find their foothold in the professional world which is why our college has a placement cell to take care of this issue.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the two-year course of Mass Communication and Journalism is around Rs. 12,000. The fee structure can change from time to time and it is better to know about the updated fee structure from the college administration office.

Campus Life

I have never been too inclined towards any extra-curricular events, however, I did take part in some events which were conducted by the college since they were really fun and I could take part in them along with my friends.

Admission

The admission to the course of MA in Mass Communication and Journalism was done taking into consideration my graduation marks. There was also a small informal interview wherein the interviewer saw my communicative skills and my knowledge about the subject.

Faculty

5

The faculties were really good to us and were very engaging in terms of the course curriculum. They made sure that we understood each and every aspect of the course and put in our hard work and dedication to complete the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.
