Remarks

You should definitely come to Alagappa for your tech related degree. They have really good specializations which are specific for your interests and can get you a job with really good starting salary.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good. Based upon your skill and your focus you can succeed here without a lot of difficulty, so don't worry. Just work hard. Exams are throughout the semesters over the year.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement cell by the college is highly qualified and very good at finding the students various jobs and opportunities that they would be interested in. Almost all of the students get placed and many major companies come to the college for hiring.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are pretty affordable. Many B.Tech courses are actually in the lakhs so this course fee per year is actually very affordable. The total fees for the entire 4-year course are around 1.7 lakhs, as the tuition fee.

Campus Life

Extracurriculars are good. There are lots of celebrations here of local things and we students are usually involved with creating a good social scene here in college and also outside. Plus, there are always a lot of sports.

Admission

Alagappa College of Technology is difficult to get into because they have specific cut offs for the marks you obtained in your stream. They consider everything based on merit which is really good but also tough.

Faculty

4

The faculty is good. Some provide their real life experience and some are skilled with teaching us the theory portions, so it is a good mix. They know how to teach us and graduating here will give you a very good name.

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and comprehensive, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications. It provides a good foundation for technical knowledge, but including more industry-oriented projects, hands-on training, and updated technologies would make it even better for future career opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Studying Master of commerce is okay. The same thing and few same subjects which I studied in undergraduate. Classes are good and we are also having some gaps. Not a big difference and 1 or 2 subjects are new for us. I want to suggest that to give holiday after the semester exams. But not before that. It is quite difficult for us to study. It will be easy for us to ask doubts.
