Course Curriculum Overview

The course is of two years and will help you in understanding the subject of child care and education even if you have no prior experience or knowledge about this. Your passion for this subject would be enough to get the proper knowledge and help you in choosing the right career.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements from college are really necessary when you are pursuing such an unconventional subject as your career. You may find good opportunities if you try our off-campus recruitment, but the guidance of the college would be really beneficial for you.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for this two-year course is really feasible as the total fee is Rs. 7700 The first and the second year fee are Rs. 4500 and Rs. 3200 respectively. This amount can be easily borne by the students and would not be much of a burden for most of them.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many different kinds of scholarship programmes that are provided by the college based on the eligibility of the students and their need. You can know about these scholarship programmes before your admission and they will be able to tell you if you are eligible for any one of them or not.

Campus Life

There is a central library in the college where students can find both course books and well as other knowledgeable books which they can use to curb their interests in reading. There is also a health care center in the college which is a good facility to have inside the college premises.

Admission

The course of childcare and education is a little unconventional and hence this degree cannot be found in many colleges. I was very happy when I found out that Alagappa University was offering masters in childcare and education and I immediately applied for the same.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties are very patient in their teaching style and even know none of the teachers were strict we had really high respect for all of them since they were so knowledgeable and experienced about the subjects that they were teaching us.

I would rate the curriculum 4/5. It is relevant and fairly comprehensive, covering core concepts, practical sessions, projects, and industry-oriented topics. However, more hands-on training and updated industry technologies could make it even better.

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.
