Overall our college need more development in and around.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course Curriculum is very good and productive with good lab facilities.And good Teaching Facuties too.Which improves our performance in exam evrytime we appear.We have 6 to 7 subjects each semester.And the course are fully covered with the depth of knowledge.

Our placement is fair enough.It should be improved.And we are working hard on it.We are provided with free internship every year.

College Events

Youth Festival- In this fest students from different colleges come and participate in different feild of singing,dancing,Art and culture.Versity week- We also have sports Week.Where are 200 games we praticiapte in.Its managed by the student Union of our university.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The admission fee is feasible.It has bank inside our collge.We have sbi and post office in our campus.My fee is 20000 per sem.Our college accepts all modes of transaction.In offline and online mode via SBI collect.Our fee is combined of admission fee,exam fee etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

No,I have not opted for any scholarship.Our college support all kind of scholarship and are verified by our university.

Campus Life

We have maximum girls in our university.But our department the majority of boys is more.There are clubs like robotics clubs,Coding club,Startup Cell and many more.There are hackathon every year in our college funded by TEQUIP.And there are many event,competition and workshops of Robotics Club too.

Hostel Facilities

I opted for hostels.They provide double seater room with all it's facilities.But the hostel should me maintained well.We are provided with wifi connection and 24*7 electricity.There should be separate hostels for separate departments.

Hostel Fee: INR 1500 per yearExternal Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

There is a alumini association but we dont find them copeartive.Some of them are co operative and help in our placement.

Admission

I got admission through CEE.State level engineering Entrance.I got more than the cuttoff and I came to counselling in the college.And we have we provide the necessary documents in this process.We are ask to present our marksheet,PRC and our marks.Then we need to pay the counselling Fee and book our seat.

Faculty

The faculty give there best in improving our skills.We Diffrent teachers for different subjects.And for lab we have different teachers.They are always punctual and are always ready to help when we need there help.They also support us emotionally nd mentally too.

College campus placement review

Likes

This college has very intelligent and polite facilities. They r so nicely teaching that everyone easily understand the topic.
I am not bad student of this college and I give more of this year.
Placement services are provided by our college in multiple places.

Dislikes

This college has so slow work experience and not done any work by time.
Some of the faculties are like they don't have time to hear our problems.

Placement Experience:

For 4th semester to students become eligible for campur placements. Tata, microsoft, godrej,amul,etc, etc. Companies are offering very nice package. They give 10lpa per anum. 70 to 80% of students got placement in our college. I am going work in refinery or ONGC

I would rate in quite highly in terms of both relevant and competative the subjects are well aligned and current industry standards and current needs it includes both theoretical need and both practical need at the same time..

I like the infrastructure of our college.
Our college have enough rooms and halls to accommodate huge number of students
Digitalisation in teaching methods in all classrooms.

Dislikes

Toilet is still not clean as promised by our GS.
Lack of equipments in practical laboratories.
Cleanliness and hygiene are a bit off track.

The course prepares well for students as the acedemic results is always good which will make gratutides well equipped for jobs. Some sections of the course should be updated to meet the latest technology, more guests lectures and the interships should be provided to the students. The exams clustering of multiple exams should be within times which relases unneccsary stress, the exams are conducted easy to insane which is very challenging for the students.

Likes

Our department (botany) has well experienced and knowledgeable professor's who guided us both practically and theruotically which help us to gain knowledge at a faster rate

As a student of Aryavidyadpeeth college, it is very difficult to be part of our college,as the department is very popular

Likes

My thoughts about my college

Likes

Faculty members of our college is very good
The thing i like that teacher in our college use projector to teach us
In our college, the students get to join various seminars, which college authorities provide us with time to time

Dislikes

The main thing which i disliked about our college is that our college campus is small if you compare it with other colleges
In our college we dont have clean toilets, and the toilets smells very bad
The next thing is that there were various construction going on in our college so for now thr college environment is healthy enough for a student to perform

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i want to appear for civil services examinations in future, so for me political science subject is helpful for my future career, in our department out faculty trach us in a decent manners, but there are some improvements needed with time

All the faculty are very learned and helpful. They make an effort and are very invested in our progress
The infrastructure is very modern with multiple laboratories and conference halls. Construction work is going on for increasing the campus area and buildings
Apart from departmental libraries, the college boasts a central library with a large collection of books, articles and journals

Dislikes

Need for a separate parking area for students
Canteen and cafeteria space should be increased
Seat capacity should be increased in the common room

The requirements for 1st semester students is to choose 7 subjects. Core subject, Minor subject, SEC (skill enhancement course), IDC (inter disciplinary course), AEC (ability enhancement course) and two compulsory VAC (value added courses) of EVS and AIS (ancient Indian studies)

Likes

I liked the overall environment of our college
My department (Geography) Faculty members are very good.
The teachers not only help in academics but also guide us for our better well-being.

Dislikes

Construction is going on in the college campus.
Though it has gain the autonomous tag still didn't get any such benefit.
The toilets are very unhygienic and have very bad odour.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course is very easy to understand anyone who is new to this branch or doesn't have any idea about geography can easily understand the topics through the guidance of our faculty members. They provide extra classes for better understanding of the students.

Faculty members are very helpful. They provide you with needful things.
During my PG dissertation course my mentor helped me a lot. While completing my thesis.

Dislikes

They were quite very serious about the attendance. They were not negligible towards it.
As like other departments there were favouritism which was not performed by every teacher but some among them.
Faculty was serious about cheating and does take hard steps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

They were efficient for our future. The course included creative writing, Aranslation studies, American studies, Feminist texts, British literature, Indian literature, Post colonialism and others. They helped in development of language and skills.

The faculty is very good. The surrounding is beautiful.
All our respect ma'am are also so good. They explain the things properly.

Does not have proper planning of exam dates and exams are taken

The course of our college is veey good. If a student want to take any course in medical they can take it easily with the entrance exam taken from government with only 50% . If I talk about the area which can be improved then the timing of college have been improved.

My academic experience at University Law College, Gauhati University

Before enrolling myself in ULC, GU it tried to get in to Facuty of Law, Delhi University but because of lack of preparation time as I decided to get myself into studying law very late, I could't clear that particular exam and then to seek for other options I found ULC which has a very rich history of a great alumni base including esteemed Jurists and Lawyers around the country. The admission process includes an examination of 100 marks coducted by Gauhati University which tests students knowledge in various aspects including General Knowlege, English, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning. The cut off for general category students ranges from around 20 to 30 based on the result of other students. I got through this exam scoring 56 with a rank of 5.
