Remarks

It's one of the best college for commerce one can get admission in, its a little tough to get admission due to high cut offs and. So I had to work really hard in my 12th to get admission in it. It is the too ranked college in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

The exam structure is simplified as much as possible by the authorities, there?s always an option amongst 8 questions and u have to attempt any four of them each for approx 18 marks, and rest 30 marks are for the internals. The course curriculum is really interesting and is really useful especially for me as im going to attempt for the UPSC examination after my graduation. The subjects have been very useful to me and the reading materials are very helpful too. No Industrial visits was organized by the college and the college role was quite less in making me a better professional.

Placement Experience

2.5

E&Y, KPMG visited the college for placement. There were interviews and the merit was the general agenda for the recruitment. Around 3% students were shortlisted.

College Events

2.5

Several events are celebrated in my college from time to time, the topmost events are the fests, there is an official college fest as well as seperate department fests which involve various performances as well as fun activities and concerts and also theres dj night. There are food fests as well. Then theres a sports fest too which involves various colleges taking part in various sports activities, atheltics basketball etc. There are dance competitions as well as other such events. Theres also a Diwali mela held every year near diwali which has some really cool stalls and activities as well as plays for the entertainment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee sturcture is very feasible and inexpesinve, the fee of my course per year is 6000 rupess only, additional hostel fee is there for the hostel students too, but for day scholars its just 6k to 7k and not more. Yes the college provided transparency in the fee-breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships for the disadvantaged students that are provided by the college as they get some relief in the fee structure. Even for the disabled students there are some reservations too and some relief for fee.

Campus Life

There are numerous amount of extracurricular activities such as sports activities, art and crafts, scienece labs too have certain activities, there are dance societies as well as women?s development cells. One can join any of these societies as an extracurricular activity.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel insfrasture is good too, there are tv facilities and the food is also really good, one dreams of getting to live in the hostel as theres alot of competition for it. two students are staying in one room and is hence very convinient too. The rental was around 8-10k.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are really very helpful as on my very first day in college I was very clueless about where my class or my teachers would be, the senior students guided me well and with patience. They are also helful in providing academic guidance to their juniors and helping us with many other problems.

Admission

I got admission through merit. There are two ways of taking admission in Delhi University in Undergraduate courses. Merit based admissions are offered for almost all Language, Humanities, Commerce and Science courses. Students need to fill in the online form at the Delhi University website during the month of May- June every year. Once the 12 th board results are announced candidates must upload their mark sheet on to the online portal. Delhi University conducts DUJAT?or Delhi University Joint Admission Test is held in the month of June usually. This year it is being held on 22 June 18. It is for admission to popular courses such as Bachelor of Management Studies, Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) and B. A. (Hons) Business Economics.

Faculty

2.5

My college had good faculty, they are very well versed in their subjects and their way of teaching is outstanding, and very interesting, the notes that they provide have been really helpful and to the point for the exams as well as helped to gain a very deep knowledge about the subjects. 20 lecturers were there in the college and their average age was 45. Yes some of the lecturers had expertise knowledge in their respective field.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting
