Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is World Class,having a great industry experience.The Curriculum is well balanced,during the time of course focus is both on academic & live project part,making it one of the most sought after institutes in india.I got good industry exposure & thanks to institutes tie-ups,I got job opportunities as well.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Placement Experience

The College is having tie-ups with:-(1) HDFC Bank.(2) Airtel.(3) J&K Bank.(4) TATA.(5) Idea.(6) Birla.(7) Reliance.etc.The recruitment process starts at end of second semester.Students Can both Learn as well as earn during the course.The college starts training for placement From 1st semester itself,With separate deptt for training & placement.Study material is aggressively changed to make it relevant with the latest developments.Almost 90% students get the Job after finishing the course.

College Events

Nearly 5 events a year.Cultural festivals are very big with famous personalities all over india coming to participate.Nearly 500 people gather in events.Displaying Kashmiri cultural & drama.Some of the major artists across the globe also visit campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

University Of Kashmir is one of the cheapest to study.I got my MBA completed for just 25000 only.No additional and hidden fees besides this.Mode of payment is by Cheque only.Fee breakdown is clearly mentioned in brochure.I don't think any other college in India can compete it in that matter.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got MOMA scholarship by filling it in First year of study on Their website.MOMA is scholarship from ministry of minority affairs.

Campus Life

Gender ration is almost 60/40.Almost zero intolerance towards any particular race.College offers good amount of sports exposure as well,with separate Gym & Sports Complex.Top players get chance to compete at both state and national level.Some students have also played at international as well.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes,very helpful.T he Supported me during my competition of the course.They suggested me good reads which helped me in clearing my exams.

Admission

I am a Marketing Guy,having 5 years of experience,i thought it is wise decision to do an MBA.The Admission Process Starts With:-(1) Clearing CMAT.(2) Filling the Admission Form with latest CMAT Score.(3) An Interview.After that detailed merit list is prepared on the basis of which Admission is given.

Faculty

Faculty is World class in true sense with strong academic & industrial background.Lecturers are aged between 35 & 60 yrs.They provide good insights in both Finance & Marketing Components of my Course.Finance Part I think is best you can get anywhere in world.

Likes

i liked the overall infrastructure of the university and their teaching
it is asias largest university with a refreashing eniviorment
the teching methodology is best with best use of teaching aids

Dislikes

some teachers are not friendly and very rude
st are given more paferance with regard to fee
st and sc have to score less in inter university test

the curriculam was learner friendly it mostly pursuits for acadimic not real world .yes we can use audio visal aids and flied triep .the timing of exam was in late evening of winter it was difficult for some students to reach on time.

My opinion about nit

Likes

I like the diversity and culture of college students come from all states each festival is celebrated with fun .
The infrastructure is good providing facilities like library, amphitheatre, auditorium etc.
I like college ground where we can walk and relieve from academics

Dislikes

College infrastructure can be improved in rainy season there is water accumulation at many places , water drainage system should be there .

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

Likes

College campus is best as we enter the college
Spending time with friends at the campus in free tym is just like awesome
All facilities are available in campus playground, swimming , library etc.

Dislikes

Canteen is small according to student population
Sitting space in canteen is not as much gud
Some appliances are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all, I had taken science in my 12th too, that is why I wanted to continue in science and due to my interest in physics and chemistry, I continued in this course. The curriculum provides me with Whatever is sufficient in my course and whatever knowledge I need, I will have more than that. Exam timing should be in the afternoon only because morning gets very late in coming due to which exam gets skipped, rest it is perfect

Likes

Faculty is very nice and the way they teaches us is outstanding
I like the campus beauty my college campus is very mesmerizing and maintainance is great
I like the fee structure of my college it is very affordable

Dislikes

I don't like timetables of my college the time table they made for classes is not suitable for us
There is not digitalized classes in our college..only few class rooms have this system
No heating system for winters in classrooms as well as in Libra

I am currently doing my BA Hons in political science. It was my aim to pursue my degree in political science since my childhood.. political science has a very good scope and it is also very interesting subject ...we can exercise politics in day to day life also
