It is a decent college i would say. You will have a good time

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum is decent here. You get good knowledge through acads and this college conducts alot of fests. So it is very active in extra curricular activities.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement is also decent. With companies like l&t, capgemini, tech mahindra, tcs, infosys coming in the campus for mass recruitment. Package of about 3-3.5 lpa is awarded on an average

College Events

There are alot of events conducted here. Rhythm is the cultural event and many more tech fests. This college also celebrates ganpati festival with 7 days of cultural program. The college runs for half day during ganpati and on the 7th day students can accompany in the visarjan

Fee Structure And Facilities

One of the best things of this college is the fees. Low than many other engineering colleges. This college charges 60000 per year which is much affordable for general caste students. You have to pay the fees through demand drafts. Also you have to pay fees for stationary.

The college does not offer any scholarship. Incase of loan you may easily avail it as the amount is below the guarantee offering limit

Campus Life

The gender of male to female would be 10 on 1. The college conducts few workshops related to technical fields. There are parties on freshers and farewell. College conducts a convocation ceremony too with robes on the body. Many students are from good families

Hostel Facilities

No as i lived in the city with family. I did not apply for hostel. My friends did live there but there is no arrangement for hostels from the college. You can rent a room nearby at good rates. Maybe 6000-7000 per month

Alumni/Alumna

The alumini network is weak here as students tend to pursue PG and leave for abroad mostly. The placement cell however manages for decent placement opportunities

Admission

I had give maharashtra cet exam and scored marks needed to clear the cut off of this college. I got here through cap rounds after submitting required docs, my college started from mid august. So the whole process took time with exams in may and then the admission process in july.

Faculty

The faculty of this college is decent enough to take care of the curriculum. Few teachers are good enough to attend classes as well as few are boring that you feel to attend their classes. But the teachers help in case of any doubts and HOD of computer science is friendly person.

An Honest Review of My BSc Computer Science College Experience

Likes

The staff and faculty members are very supportive and good in nature.
Friendly student environment. Never heard of any ragging incident taken place.
They conduct Events, workshops, and different activities regularly and neatly.

Dislikes

Canteen food is limited and quality is average
Limited Campus placement opportunities and less industry experience
Lab equipment and resources needs to be improved,

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are limited in the college. A few companies visit during the final year, and students usually becomes eligible fromo the last semester. The packages offered are generally modest, mostly for entry-level roles. Only a small percentage of students get placed thorugh campus drives, while many prefer to apply off-campus for better opportunities. The college provides basic placement support such as info about job openings and guidance, but students need to build their own skills and prepare independently. After completing the degree, students prefer to pursue higher studied, professional courses, or entry-level IT jobs.

The reality check

Likes

The college professors are very particular about attendence and they will always keep there eye on your attendance and according to them attending is very important.
The college infrastructure is very good and there is vast space for students to chill and study library is also very spacious.
The teachers are always eager to solve our doubts and interact with us , the want the more and more students should approach them ask there doubts and discuss the syllabus etc.

Dislikes

I didn't like that sometimes over priority is given to the attendance I think a student can study well at his or her own sometimes only regularly attending lectures can't make you score more self study is important
The college don't have big ground earlier there used to be a big ground but it has gone for the construction work so, we only has a turf and a small ground.
The approach towards the teaching should be changed slightly and more practical based learning should be included.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement start from seventh semester and from third semester only students are enrolled in TPO Training and Placement Organisation where they train students withe various technical skills to acquire a good job. Various famous companies visit our college. Highest pakacge is of eight lakh per annum by Nice solutions. Percentage of student getting place on campus is less. After degree I will do a job.

Awesome college life during graduation

Likes

College was newly constructed so infrastructure was quite good.
Teacher's teaching was great as we were 3rd batch
Teacher's used to pay attention to every single students progress.

Dislikes

It was specifically much far from main city
Teacher's were very strict like used to call to parents if students are not present in class
Not much placement companies came to college. Placement rate was not so great

Placement Experience:

Placements for my college was not so good they had provided some companies which has came to take interviews but hardly fuse students got selected and higher number of students had place through consulting agency and they were place of campus even I also did not got placed through college and I had job through off campus. In all, 35 students have got placed via college placements and out of those hardly 20 students join the companies wear in they were placed.

Mit aoe has good faculties and teaching and academic are good enough
Not too crowded as intake is 1300 students of the college
Gender ratio is almost 4:3 as of my batch

Dislikes

Mit aoe Campus is very small hardly 4 to 5 acres
Mit aoe fees is costly comparitively to the other colleges
Mit aoe Campus is almost at the edge of pcmc makes hard for traveling to the main city

Placement Experience:

I think students are eligible for internship from 2 nd year and about placement it is nice with the comparison to others like Sinhgad ,marathwada and alll companies like jsw,cisco ,eq technology and many more are visited in placement cell

No no college is really good and the no suggestion for that
The environment of the campus and the quality of infrastructure is a very much good that's for not a any solution for that
The professor and the staff of this Institute is very well educated and a experience that why no suggestion for this also

Nothing bad about this college it is an a good college that can provide the good opportunity for student

Yes there will be the good opportunity that can provided by the college many companies come in the college and they can over the placement for the students. What about the unplace student that can also doing good because they can take the education from the KK Wagh

I like the staff of mechanical branch. They are good at teaching.
My colleagues are good and helpful. Also supportive..
My seniors are great mates and not a single Case of bowling happen.

Dislikes

The canteen of my college is basically trash.
The Xerox shop is very small and always has a rush.
The aesthetics of the campus is not That appealing.

Placement Experience:

Our college gives in campus placements for students in the final year. Our college also has a great reputation regarding the placements giving higher packages to students. The average package for mechanical branch is 4.5 lakhs which is fairly decent considering it's a tear to college.

Placements are really good of the college Indira college of engineering and management pune Highest package was 240000. And minimum package is 12-15 lakh per month. Almost every student in this college get placement

Location of college is best near to juhu beach.
Placements of college is good also internship opportunities are there
Teacher's teaching is average but their behavior towards students are good

Dislikes

Infrastructure of college is bad, need to renew also there is so much pigeons in college
If you want to work on your professional development, college will not much help you, you have to build it by yourself.
My personal experience in this college is boring and mostly I experience difficult to make friends may be the reasons because it is only girl's college, but it depend on person to person

Placement Experience:

College provides Placement opportunites, Average placement is nearly 4.5laks. College will help you after the graduation for one year for the job opportunities if you didnt got job in final year. there are 25+ companies visits in our campus.

One of the best colleges in Maharashtra

Remarks:

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.

Affordable or Expensive- A detailed review of Atharva College of Engineering

I had applied for Thakur college of engineering which was the nearest to my house and also in St. Francis college of engineering. I think Thakur could have been a better option but due to my less percentile I had to go in Athrava and that too management category. The only thing I liked about my college is its aimbience and vibe it gives you a vibe of a decent yet somewhat modern college. The admission process was seamless no difficulty faced at all. Atharva College of Engineering.

As in cap round I apply for different colleges in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, but as per my cut out I was alloted a navi mumbai college known as Saraswati college which is located in Kharghar. But as it is far from my local station I prefered for second list and in that list I alloted this college Atharva College of engineering. So I choosed this college because it is near my local station. And this college is well developed and also had some insight from the ex-students of this college. This made me choose this college. I was rejected by a college named VJTI as that college cut-off was way ahead of what I had scored so I got rejected from that college. The admission process of Atharva College of engineering is to simple just submit your documents of 12th or diploma and your local I'D and fill the fees.
