Ravenshaw University is one of old and renowned university in Odisha with it's autonomous syllabus. With that this college has a reputation and getting a seat here for core courses are tough. With that this college also facilitate on campus drives for both professional and non- professional courses.
Placement Experience
Companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Delloite, Concentrix and many more visited for the campus placement.Profile offered were for Non-technical courses were Tech & Customer Support, Business Operations etc.For technical course profile offered were Junior Testing Associate, Software developer etc.Placement process is good but not that much good as engineering colleges.No alumni referral or startup experience.
College Events
Campus life was extremely good apart from studies. There many cultural management comitee for the university and all the departments like Science, Commerce and Arts.Festivals like Ganesh Puja, Saraswati Puja were celebrated in the campus and all the department and hostels celebrate these festivals.The department functions and college functions were very big and joyful. Large number of students participates in those cultural events with great excitement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, I have availed a scholarship known as Prerna it was basically for the students from reserved category having an annual income of below than 4,00,000. Student get the stipends according to their course.
Campus Life
Sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball were there. And there are university for these sports with the Sports society.We also had campus Wi-Fi which was later disabled by the University.We have two libraries for the students which were big enough for the university students.All the labs were well equipped.
