Remarks

I had a special fascination for the Heramba Chandra College since class 12. I always wanted to get admission in this college. Academics, Faculty and the teaching quality of this college I like most.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The strongest part of the college is the academics and the faculties. This college is the ideal destination for the knowledge-seekers. The faculties are highly educated and the college has more than adequate faculty members. The academics of this college is top quality.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement section of this college is very much average. Mainly two companies visit the college every year to offer placement for the 3rd year candidates. But the placement includes only internship opportunity. ICICI Life Insurance is one of the companies who visits.

College Events

2.5

The Campus life of Heramba Chandra College is purely positive and excellent. Cultural Festivals such as Holi, Saraswati Puja are organized by the college. The college also organize Freshers' Welcome Programme for the new candidates. The college does organize few educational festivals like GST Seminar.

Campus Life

2.5

The college has below average infrastructure. This is the most weakest part of the college. It runs with minimal Sports facility and Poor WiFi facility. The college has only one Wifi in the canteen. But the college has two libraries open for the students. Students from all the three shifts can access the Central Library of the college. The library has more than adequate books.

Honestly, I was preparing for neet but after neet i was very clear that i want to do this(Agriculture). Practical cum theory approach here will make you a awared man in this field. Placements and Governments seats after UG is very competitive although. In upcoming future everyone will going to focus on larger production in limited land/cultivation area so Agriculture will be needed today and tomorrow.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My passion and a bit of curiosity in International Relations led me to choose this course. The curriculum, in fact, prepared me well for further academic pursuits. For improvement, educational excursions and internship opportunities should be made available. The exam is held twice a year on semester basis, with papers set at a moderate to difficult level.

There are limited on campus placement opportunities here, especially for Arts and Eng Hons students. Most students focus on higher studies, competitive exams or off campus opportunities after graduation. The college provides basic guidance through teachers but formal placement drives are rare.
