Every coin has two facets so is with this college. Obviously there are some negative points like it's high fees, it's strict discipline, it's infrastructure of the building. But these factors are very small when compared to it's good ones. So if you are interested in this field , you should have a try of it's entrance test. Once you are in this college your life is fully set.You don't have to worry more about it just relax and enjoy the college life as it comes only ones in everybody's life.

For getting in this college , you need to be both very good at studies and medically fit. For this college entrance , a separate exam known as IMU CET (indian maritime university, common entrance test) is conducted by our central government every Year in June. I joined in this college in 2013 through this paper in which I got all india rank 160. From childhood I was all money minded and wanted to roam all around the globe. As this field fulfills my dream , that's why I opted for this course. So if you want to make a fast buck then you must opt fit this course. Admission process is Quite easy now. Earlier it was quite a cumbersome work but now it's online process. So you don't need to worry about it. You just have to give the exam and if you qualify it then cheer up man , you have come into the world's best place to secure your life and dreams.

Our course curriculum is quite difficult. You have to read about all fields within these four years but it will be a good experience for you to have knowledge about all these. As we have to control all the ship's engine department alone while we are at sea , surrounded with water all around and land a miles of distance away. As like our college our teachers are also quite renowned and come from best teaching background. Teachers are quite helpful here. They teach us in a best way so that we can grasp a lot from his teachings. In our placement they also play a key role. Most of our teachers have sailed for about 15 years as a chief engineer ago it's a good facts fit us.

Since I am still studying , so I can't tell you about my internship experience . But from my seniors that have already fit placed, I come to hear a lot about training . As per them training on board (ship) is quite entertraining and skillful experience you get a very good chance to learn about this field. Officers onboard are quite helpful and besides you get a lot of money also average stipened that you get on board in training is around 500 $(33000).

Lot of companies come in our college placement and also take a bunch of students from our college. So you don't need to worry about the placement from this college. Some famous companies like Maersk, Mitsui, Bw, Nyk lloyds take around 30 students average. So almost all students of this college get placed from here. And if by some reason any student does not get placement from campus then our alumni or our teachers help in off campus placements.

As like other colleges our college also organizes fest in November . It gives a very big platform to students of all colleges to participate in this fest. So it gives a stage to a student to show his inner talent to this open world. Many events are organized in this fest like tech event, sports event, fashion event, model making event etc. The best one off all these are the fashion event and tech fest. Winners of events are also awarded a handsome prizes also.

There are 4 hostels for all the four year students. Hostel rooms are decent and big an average of 3 students live in one room. But each one gets a lot of space. One backdrop of this college is it's fees . It's 225000 per year despite being a governmental college its fees is quite high. But for your kind information fees of this field is generally very high. So it's not a big deal. Those who can't afford this much of money , bank provides loan for it. Mess food are a best part of this college. You get 3 Times of food and one time snacks. Tea , you get both in the morning and evening. Foods here are quite tasty and healthy.

Loans as I told you are available for this college fees if you come from any category you are also given several benefits here as like scholarships. If your annual income is low then also you are eligible for scholarships if you are good at study you are most welcome here.

Campus life it's as good as as you can think of you will remember these moments till your life. College campus is of 33 yard. Parks, temple, mosque, swimming pool everything are there in this campus for sports separate grounds are there for basket ball , court is there here girls numbers are less here for each department, different labs are there every labs are fully air conditioned and has all kind of instruments kept in that various competitions are time to time organized in our college so you can really find your positions that you are at. The best part of this college is it's workshop. It is fully equipped with modern machines.

Our alumini network is quite strong, as our most of the Passouts are at very positions. They are always helpful for this college, whether it is in placement or any financial support.
