Remarks

No entrance exams are needed to take admission in SP college, Chandrapur. Students doing plain 11th - 12th have the best opportunity for their career as they have to score good marks in 12th boards.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus taught here is very simple, as the faculty members work hard for the students to make studies easier. They are so polite towards the students and not harsh. I am happy with the college and course as well.

SP college, Chandrapur ranks average in case of placements. As less companies come for the placements. Students are placet at Infosys and Wipro.

College Events

The campus atmosphere is good. Various courses are available in the campus. Personality development workshops are conducted every year. Well known speakers are invited. They help us a lot in personality development issues.

Fees and Financial Aid

I availed scolarships under OBC category. I didn't took any loan but college provides Education loan facility.

Campus Life

Wifi facilities are not provided. Playgrounds are provided for sports. College classrooms are spacious and library is also huge with lots of books. Laboratories are well maintained. College infrastructure ranks good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are not provided by the SP college. We have to book rental rooms. They costs upto 3000 per cot per month and meals cost 2000 per month. Rental rooms are available everywhere near the college.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

in terms of engagement its pretty good. you have a diverse set of peers group to learn from.
we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

missing on college campus because of space .

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate
From SY only class is about 2-4 hrs everyday and Saturday-Sunday holidays

Dislikes

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed.The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.

Students are required to clear MHTCET with a good score of a minimum 97 percentile if they are in a general category. Students have to move through CAP rounds as decided by the MHTCET cell. Students of SC/ST or OBC quota can avail benefits of percentile reduction as well they would be having a discounted fee of 4,648 which is very great for them. SPCE - Know about our college in deep.

The admission process is fine , students are selected on basis of scores secured in JEE Mains , MHTCET and in addition to caste based reservation some seats are also reserved for students from Jammu and Kashmir. I wanted to get into top 3 engineering college in maharashtra via mhtcet as my JEE mains didn't fetch me seat in top 7 Nits . So while filling form of CAP I filled all branch of government college such as COEP , VJTI, SPCE because of their reputation and legacy of many decades. Then I got SPCE civil in 2 nd round of CAP .
