I took only one entrance exam after my 12th, and still I scored less in that JEE exam. Thus I was left with limited options of college to choose. So I decided to get in whichever college with availability of seat.
The course of mechanical engineering was university approved and updated regularly by university of mumbai. The professors in the college arranged theory as well as practical session for each subject separately.
The graph of placement record of the college has always improved with the time. Every next year more nom of students get placed in good companies that that of previous year.
The campus life was very good and went smoothly throughout the course. There were only one problem associated with that, the travelling to the college. It is situated quite far away from the station and needs a travelling facility.
The infrastructure of the college is in growing stage. It has separate building for different department. The college is equipped with library, digital library and very good canteen. It also has good classroom and practical labs.
From second year placement are start coming for students. Many companies are coming to our college like Godrej, eclerx , ICICI, HDFC and many more. For fresher students the highest package was 25000 pee month and the average is like 13000 per month for profiles like sales executive, back office executive. In our class 20% to 25% of students get placement. My plans is I'm studying further with side by side job.
It is autonomous college it is one of the most well known college in Mumbai it has a placement and teaching method all faculties are good it has 13 branches UMIT has been approved by the apex bodies like the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). It envisages an educational complex with state of the art laboratories, workshops and computer centre equipped with the latest equipment. It also envisions close liaison with the Industry and handling live Industry Projects as part of the curriculum. The curriculum has been designed to embrace modern developments in the field of technology to equip the students to face the challenges of the Industry.
The average placement rate of USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY is about 73%. Because this is tha girls college, all the opportunities are for girls. Most of the students get placed in Companies like Barclay's, Infosys and many more. In the Placement section, our college is better.
I had gotten 89 percent in my 12th standard. I wrote the NATA entrance exams and applied to the college. Our college has a cut off at 50% at 12th and they also look at the marks you got in the NATA. After that i got confirmation regarding my admission and was asked to bring my certificates and scorecard.
The college has a remarkable placement cell that tries to involve many companies into recruiting students. Almost 80 to 90 percent students were recruited from our college. Many became architects and assistants and many were recruited for government jobs.
College management is not good as much as we expect and the worst part of college is the canteen which should be totally replaced. If you see that once you will never go there.
Because this is a Government college of engineering and the college is best, Fees are also lower than usual colleges.and other facilities are also available here and friendly environment. So u have chance to learn more things here
Basically, my college is the best campus. There are the so many trees around the college in the natural things. Are there are so study focus Li and sports Grounds are there also for the relising students and the other things labs computer rooms and the so many activities there are in college. So students have the that atmosphere in the college.
