Course Curriculum Overview
Syllabus was based on CBCS pattern. Papers were quite informative and unique in each semester. Faculties include major JNU and DU alumni. Guest faculties included retired professors having a vast experience. Seminars on various topics conducted on regular intervals.
Placement Experience
Placement from B.com, Economics, MBA, ITM and IST is done. Max package goes to 3 lakh. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Deloitte, Concentrix, Tech Mahindra etc come.
College Events
It included every dimension of a student phase. Cultural festivities, Famous odia pujas, College fests, Hostel fests, Department freshers and farewells, College foundation and commemoration day. Drama and skits promoted. Dancing singing and odissi form promoted among students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships were provided to SC and ST students on the basis of their 12th board marks. PG toppers were also given prize money.
Campus Life
Famously known as The red empire. Infrastructure since 1886 pre independence. British officials established it. Green and clean campus. New buildings for new addition to the streams built. Hostels for boys and girls.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility was too good at a very reasonable price. Preferences were given to students having residential address more distant i.e 10 kms from college campus. Boarding charges sums up to 3000/ per year And mess charges were charged monthly maximum up to 2000. Beds, cupboard, table and chair were provided. Hostel was equipped with gym, study room, lawn, terrace and small canteen.
