LPU, MBA, General

Reviewed on Sep 25, 2020

Remarks

After I graduated from LPU in 2016 i took a year for preparing for CAT however I got 81% i wasn't able to get a good college with low fees however when I saw good placement in LPU and had also low fees as compared to other colleges so I chose this college

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is very good in LPU if you are confused in which field you want to pursue MBA there are both the option doing MBA and in choosing the specialization in 3rd sem or directly doing MBA in a specialised field from sem 1. Course is well planned. Faculties are very supportive, experienced

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 520000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes I did internship for YES BANK IN 2018 and was paid around 30000 per month

Placement Experience

4.5

Lot of companies visit the campus every year. The only condition is there you have to maintain atleast 6.5 CGPA to to elligible for placement. There are lot of startups by student also which work around the university. I got placed in Quick Heal as I was a graduate from CSE and did specialization in IT and later did MBA in HR

College Events

4.5

The campus has a lot to offer apart from academics. There are lot of co curricular activities going on in campus. Most of them are organised by student organisations. There are about 150 student organisation in university.

Campus Life

Infrastructure of LPU is one of the best across India even when i started my UG course in 2012 I was particularly attracted by the infrastructure and over the 7 years it has become more beautiful. Whole campus has WIFI. Several libraries are there. MAC labs. Recently a sports complex was also built which had indoor swimming pool and other sporta like tennis, badminton

lively campus nights and a fun student life at chandigarh university

Likes

my overall experience at the college has been good so far
the faculty members are generally helpful
campus life is active with various cultural and technologies events

Dislikes

one thing i feel can be improved is the amount of pratical and industry oriented learning
some claases can be more theroy oriented so more hands on activities and pratical sessions would be beneficial
during major events and peak hours the campus become crowded

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is realvent and fairly comprehensive i choose computer science engineering because it covers importnt ares such as programming data structures data base software development and emerging technologies

A Great College Experience with Learning, Growth and Opportunities

Likes

Good campus infrastructure and modern facilities for students.
Supportive faculty and a good learning environment.
Variety of activities and opportunities for overall development.

Dislikes

Some administrative processes can take more time than expected.
The campus can be crowded during peak hours.
Hostel and mess facilities could be improved further.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical concepts and practical skills relevant to the course. It provides a good foundation for real-world applications and further studies. Exams are conducted regularly and are generally manageable with proper preparation. The curriculum could be improved by adding more practical projects, industry exposure and updated topics.
