Remarks

I had heard about the college from my relatives who studied here before. Being an engineering student, the college also encourages us to be more creative and take part in many cultural events as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Engineering as a course is an interesting subject theres a lot we didn't know about the working of computers, networks so on, the curriculum could be a bit more updated i think, the faculties are good, they put in efforts to make you understand a concept, being in online lectures now they put in more efforts to see it that we understand each and every lecture clearly.

Class Size: 70

Placement Experience

Aws, Infosys, L&T, TATA, etc. The placement rates are high. There are aptitude test held for the students on the basis of which the students are called for the interview from the respective companies.

College Events

The technical and cultural events are both good, the participation of the crowd is more for the food stalls than the actual event though. During these fests people prefer fun games more than the talks and seminars that are held.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

SDA Bocconi Asia Center, IMB ( International Masters in Business)

Reviewed on May 3, 2020

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.

The college offers Engineering in 4 Branches namely Computer Engineering , IT , EXTC, and Mechanical and students can get admission through either by doing 12th or after diploma . For students who have did 12th the college accepts admission through MHTCET and JEE the cutoff are usually high above 90+ percentile for Computer and IT branch while slightly low 80%+ for EXTC and Mechanical branch. The college has a overall seats of 120 seats in computer engineering Dept 60 of which are reserved for Christian Students. While the other dept have 60 seats per dept and 10% seats are reserved for DSE students...Read More

Just 20% seats for minorities and thats a good thing as one gets fair chance for admission here....Read More
