What Students Say

Likes

Infrastructures were always made available to students with good internet connectivity.
Faculty were supportive in regards ro any tecjnical academic issues.
I personally liked the extracurricular activities like football and different competitions

Dislikes

Students didn't seem to fear the faculty
Attendance was an issue as students take the lectures for granted
I do dislike the events that are compressed in a tight schedule or canceled by giving reasons of tight schedule

Course Curriculum Overview

As technology advances in IT industry, the curriculum and our syllabus needs to be updated. The current syllabus provides the fundamentals which is necessary to be studied but students need to be more adapt to the current advancing technology

Placement Experience

There are placements in my college and a lot of companies arrive like Capgemini, Homefirst, Quicksell, VIP, Godrej and so on. I believe most of the students are able to bag the jobs that come even if not at the beginning of the placement season due to not having enough preparation but they are able to do well as companies keep on coming.

Campus Life

I have worked as a volunteer in NSS and it has been a breath of fresh air from all the technical assignments and projects. I am also a part of AI Club which has broadened my horizons to new topics in this field.

Admission

Well I do personally prefer my college because of having a catholic background. I applied to this institute solely for that reason and didn't think of applying elsewhere. Luckily I got the admission too.

Faculty

There are friendly relations between students and faculty because of being involved in different technical and cultural clubs. The curriculum is not difficult as its set to perfect standard that students can study without any issue if they want to get good marks

Night Life

Its not safe at night to roam around the campus. And I am glad I can say that college closes at 6 or 7 so no one is left in college unless there are events going on for which Principal's permission is needed

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

From 7th semester students are able to sky in campus placement.The companies which are major recruiters from our coleege are IOCL, BPCL, HPCL ONGC, GAIL, SAIL,Reliance, Vedanta, IGL, HPL, Bharat electronics limited,CAIREN oil , NAYRA etc... the highest package of our college is of 24 lpa and average package is about 13 to 14 plans . Approximately 98 to 100% of students are placed. My plans is to get campus placement and serve as Fire officer in various companies.

Around your 7th semester companies started to visit college for campus placement. In 2025-26 there are reliance,haldi,igl,bpcl,vedanata,narayana,etc . These companies visited up to now There is nothing like highest package in this college because selecting in psu it means a stabke carrer and even if you wish to have a better salary after doing sime courses like nebosh and m tech in safety you can get jobs in foreign countries There is 100% placement in college To continue the job. And get near to my home

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

Perfection

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from the 7th semester. Companies like ABC Corp, XYZ Ltd visited, offering various roles. Highest package was 10 LPA, avg was 5 LPA. Around 80% students get placed. If no campus placement, focus on internships, networking, and job search post-graduation. After the degree, I plan to pursue a career in the field, aiming for roles in design or manufacturing.

I got into DBIT post completion of my diploma so it was a DSE or Direct second year engineering entry students , I got EXTC engineering in the second CAP round . The college offers Engineering in 4 Branches namely Computer Engineering , IT , EXTC, and Mechanical and students can get admission through either by doing 12th or after diploma . For students who have did 12th the college accepts admission through MHTCET and JEE the cutoff are usually high above 90+ percentile for Computer and IT branch while slightly low 80%+ for EXTC and Mechanical branch. MH-Cet percentile of 97 is required as even though it was lockdown when i took admission the cut-off was still that.
