Likes

The cleanness of our clg they are very particular about cleanness to keep our health save.
Class room size and banchess they are not regular type of setting place , they have chairs and tables
I like my faculty,my class teacher faculty only he understands us support us ,as he is every student favourite

Dislikes

They don't provide us many as many workshops or any other side course
The one new faculty is very not good at her teaching but not on is taking action
Our class strength is getting small and smaller because of that we don't get what we want

Course Curriculum Overview

So the curriculum of mass media communication is nice i choose this because I wanted to become an advertiser and teaching methods is nice the exam are not so difficult because our faculties give us question bank ,tak our revision class so it becomes very easy for us to study for exam as our faculties try to help us before exam during classes timings taking our revision and test

Class Size: 27Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

So the fees for year is 55,000 , you can pay in part-payment , first part payment should be 30,000 , then whatever the remaining amount is remaining in fees you have to pay that together as i have years undergraduate Mass Media Communication degree now I am in second but the fees remain same 55,000

Campus Life

Ok so the experience was not so good not so bad as they have time of 8 to 1 which is very tiring and also they make us wait or events till 3 after class which I hate but the friends I made I love that they all are so good person I like my class teacher also overall it's good also but not so good

Admission

Ok first of all the distance between my clg and my home is hardly 15 to 29 minutes and my clg is the only one clg for my degree which is so close to me I never applied to any other clg because of travelling ans so in the first round only I got selected from my clg as they have such goog infrastructure and also have the course what i want so I never tried in any other clg and the process is like you have to apply for it that HOD take interview of you then they select and you have to pay fees and done

Faculty

The faculties are good I like my class teacher has he cares about us , our course has 3 yr of duration and we have 6 subject and we have 2 exam in one year do total of three years we have 6 exam. We have ATKT exam also this are for those students who could not complete or clear their first exam we have 75 marks paper

Dislikes

The hostel mess food lacks variety and quality, which is a frequent concern among resident students.
The placement department needs improvement as more core internship and job opportunities could be provided for undergraduate finance and BMS students
There is a lack of student-accessible Wi-Fi facilities across the campus premises, which makes online research difficult during college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

Excellent college for diplomawith supportive faculty

teachers are helpful and you can ask them your doubts without any problem. most of them are quite supportive
there are technical events, sports and cultural programs during the year, so college is not only about studies
i liked the practical sessions and labs because we actually got to work on things instead of only learning the thoery

Dislikes

Placements opportunities could be better and i feel the college can bring more companies for students
Sometimes the academics workload can fell a bit much, espically when assignments, practicals and exams come around together
Using mobile in the collge is strictly not allowed and if used our mobile is taken and given after 6 to 7 days .

Placement Experience:

Placements at VES Polyetchnic are decent for a diploma college. students generally become eligible for placements in the final year.Pacages depend on the company and branch, with some offer going above 4 LPA. the placement cell also helps with interviews and internships. after diploma, many students also choose to continue with higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

"The Best college"

Likes

Faculty of College Is good. All Faculty of College is Well worsed.
Library of the College is Very Good. Having plenty of books. Each Volumes and edition are available to the library.
The Moot Court hall is well equipped. Having all the facilities and modern techniques as well.

Dislikes

The Infrastructure of boys Hostel Should be improved
There is no canteen in college. College can try to open canteen
Parking for Bikes should be improve. College having ample of space for car parking

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chooses this curriculum as I am intrested to do law. Many of students and other peoples praises the college as "Best College of Law" in Marathwada region. To be honest. Really it is best college. Which gives us best curriculum during our academic year. The curriculum of college teaches me how to become a good lawyer. The arguing skills etc. There should be no suggestions from my side just to imrove the course curriculum as it is overall good. The timings and scheduled are fixed by college and university. Generally the exam is in two shifts 10:00 to 1.00 and 2.00 to 5.00pm.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Wealthy and good campus

I like the cleanness of the collage and premise
Very good interaction with other peaceful campus
Another thing i like is the infrastructure good campus amenities and learning facilities

Dislikes

The lab management no sitting arrangement many of the water taps not working ect
The office faculty most of them are rude in behaviour
The parking arrangements not well yet and not allowing any of four wheeler inside the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love pharmacy and i love to see me as an pharmacist i like this profession because i like to see the other pharmacists how they work how they wear the lab coat ect thats why i choose this and as soon i get to know that we can also start a business by having a pharmacy license

Remarks:

Laxminarayan Institute of Technology is a reputed institute, when it comes to the field of Chemical Engineering. The placement at LIT for M.Tech students is also decent. In my batch, 50% of the students were placed on Campus, which is better than many NITs for Chemical Engineers doing M.Tech. The admission fees of 27,000 per year is also less in comparison with other institutes. The Teachers at LIT are also vastly experienced. Also the Institute was in my hometown, which made my decision even more easier.

I got into DBIT post completion of my diploma so it was a DSE or Direct second year engineering entry students , I got EXTC engineering in the second CAP round . The college offers Engineering in 4 Branches namely Computer Engineering , IT , EXTC, and Mechanical and students can get admission through either by doing 12th or after diploma . For students who have did 12th the college accepts admission through MHTCET and JEE the cutoff are usually high above 90+ percentile for Computer and IT branch while slightly low 80%+ for EXTC and Mechanical branch. The college has a overall seats of 120 seats in computer engineering Dept 60 of which are reserved for Christian Students. MH-Cet percentile of 97 is required as even though it was lockdown when i took admission the cut-off was still that. Yes, in that cut-off, getting admission is tough but cometh the hour, cometh the man is what DBIT believe in.
