Remarks

I wanted to pursue my career in the field of Electrical engineering and chose this college because it was easy for me to travel as it is quite near to Dwarka metro station. Markets and shopping are centres are in close proximity to have a good time at after classes. The Campus is quite safe, gigantic and hygienic full of greenery all around. Fees for the course is affordable as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is extensively detailed and really useful, especially for technology fields like CSE, IT, CSAI, IT, MAC. It's updated as per the recent technological advancements and trends to make us aware of real life industrial and tech activities. Faculty is well qualified having industrial and corporate experience under their belts. They emphasize more on learning by performing rather than studying books only. They conduct various guest speaker sessions where industry experts come and tell us about the evolution of this domain.

Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

Since ours is the first batch of EE because it's a new course started in this college, so placements data in our domain are not available. There is a dedicated placement cell which takes care of placements and internships of students. Many globally known top recruiters like Amazon, Facebook, Google, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, etc., visit our campus for placements in other fields as per the seniors from other courses with highest annual package offered of worth Rs. 10-12 lakhs.

College Events

4.5

Annual fest of college 'Moksh' witness students attending from various colleges and universities spread across Delhi NCR in huge numbers. Technical fests called Innovision and Resonanz are also organised every year for the tech geeks. There are more than 20 societies and clubs in the college like a cell, robotics club, dance club, sports club, etc. which conduct various events and competitions for students to participate and show their talents. Annual sports day, Kavi Sammelan, E-summit, toppers talk, Dj evening, etc., are organised throughout the year for students' and staff's entertainment.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is satisfactory as the buildings are pretty old and some labs aren't well equipped. The campus is Wifi enabled with excellent internet services. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls and the mess food provided is not of good quality and the rooms in the hostel are also very small. The medical facility is available inside. Sports equipments are alsi available with a big library that holds wide array of books, journals and previous year question papers.

Placement was among the best and most the top companies visited
Infrastructure was appreciable with no major shortage of laboratories
Senior-Junior interaction compensated the average faculty

Dislikes

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

The companies coming for internships are great
The experienced faculty who came from IIMs
The experienced clubs and their guidance

Dislikes

There is bit of mismanagement experienced,
There is last minute information available at the end moment
Disclarity in information throughout the whole semester

Placement Experience:

It is okay and it is based on luck of the student more than hardwork. You also have to network super well to get into good dream companies. It is a good place to get it out of luck through ATS sysytem.

The engagements and the quality of the social interactions in this college is also very good and very uplifting.
The quality of the infrastructure is very good compared to other colleges in du, considering its very new.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the thought of learning about the literature of the older times was pretty exciting to me while I was choosing the course. The curriculum however does prepares you if you want to continue ur academic journey in the English field.

Wonderful life experience that can't be forgotten.

Remarks:

Good Remark: The college environment made it possible for me to have great friends and be the person who I have become. The teachers and facilities of well-equipped labs, guest lectures, events, library, etc. made it possible for us to have a great campus life. Bad Remark: The college management needs to update the library norms that they have (which made it difficult for us to have books for the weekend to study) and also need to provide students with better placement opportunities from the same field as the specializations.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

The main reason for joining this college was proximity from my home. Another option was DTU but it had a 2 hour journey from my home whearas NSUT had 1 hour journey. Both colleges are almost same and placements are also almost same. If someone is choosing between these colleges then distance should be a major factor. If someone is from outside Delhi then for coding culture you should join NSUT while for fun and fests, you should join DTU....Read More

NSUT insiders

1. I applied to only 2 colleges DTU and NSUT. But I didn't choose dtu because of traveling issues, as it was 2 hours away from my house and nsut was just 15 mins away. 2. I didn't get a rejection from other colleges, but I myself choose not to there, as NSUT is a reputed college and government college for btech. It is one of the top college in delhi. 3. The admission process is through JAC delhi counseling in which NSUT DTU IGDTUW comes, and you can select your preference and you will be given tbe course with the college according to your rank scored in JEE MAINS....Read More
