The college provides good placement opportunities.The college management can consider the transporation fees as it is little higher.Overall, it is a good college.
Entrance Preview
The candidates are admitted based on single window TNEA counselling.The admission is based on the cut-off mark which is obtained using the marks of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry marks of 12th standard marks.I scored around 174. I was looking for a good college but I didn't get due to my low cut-off marks. Fortunately, I got into the college as Instrumentation and Control Engineering course was started in the college during that year.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum changes every two years or after some time.As Instrumentation and Control Engineering was fresh in our college, They followed the Anna University Syllabus for our batch.But the curriculum changed for the 2013-2017 batch which was better compared to our syllabus. Not every faculty was good.Some are good whereas some aren't. The best part is that the management sacked some faculties who were not upto the mark.
Internships Opportunities
Some companies provide internships to the students who got placed in the respective companies. Also, the students can go for internship if they find companies on their own. The general stipend varies from company to company. Not every student get internship opportunity.Only few get internship opportunity.
Placement Experience
The placements were really good for our batch. Major recruiters for our batch included Cognizant, Infosys and Wipro. Also Amazon, Zoho, Verizon, Owler and Robert Bosch visited our campus but they recruited only few students.
College Events
Sports Day, Annual Day and Founders Day are celebrated every year. During our period of study, the events are simple and not big. But the events got bigger from 2015. Also, the symposiums are conducted by the respective departments.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is reasonable. I paid nearly 60, 000 per year which is affordable.Also the students will get 20, 000 reduction in fee if they are first graduate.
Fees and Financial Aid
The loan facility is offered by the banks and fro which the college will give a bonafide certificate. Also, Scholarship is offered to student by the government.The college awards scholarship to the toppers.
Campus Life
The campus life was good but not upto the mark. The college provide very good sports facilities. Also, various competitions are conducted in the college.The Science Expo is conducted every year by the Science and Humanities Department.
Hostel Facilities
I was not into hostel in my hostel. But the hostel facilities and mess food are okay and good as some of my friends had told me.
Alumni/Alumna
As I recently passed out, I didn't attend any alumni meeting as of now.The college has a good alumni network and every year, Alumni meetings are conducted.
Exam Structure
The Exam Structure consists of 3 Internals per semester and there are two semesters per year. The labs will be usually 2 or 3 per semester.The exams are not hectic.The student can follow the syllabus easily.
