Remarks

This is one of the best BCA colleges in West Bengal. Our college campus is very nice and our college is just at a stone's throw from Heritage Institute of Technology. I am passionate about learning Computer Science, so l opted for BCA here.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course syllabus is industry-ready, as it includes C, C++, Java, Python, and some other languages, which are in high demand today. The faculty are good and approachable. Industrial training provided in 3rd year.

Placement Experience

Our college placements are fairly decent. Placements mostly take place through pool campussing drives. 75%-80% students get placed, on an average, every year. The profiles are for Trainee Software Engineers, Trainee Programmers, Associate Analyst, etc.

College Events

Our college holds a "Khoj" Talent Hunt every year, in which lots of competitions like Photography, Debate, Elocution, Poster-making are included. There are also other cultural fests held in our college. Our college actively participates in many inter-college competitions as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail of any loan/scholarship to study here. Our college does not provide any scholarships as such. You can avail of State/Central government scholarships

Campus Life

There's 1 playground right behind our college building, which is used for playing games like football, cricket, kabaddi, etc. Our library is well equipped with books relevant to our course curriculum.

Hostel Facilities

There are 4 girls hostels located inside the college campus. Almost all the rooms are on sharing basis. There are 2-seater rooms, 3-seater rooms, 4-seater rooms and 6-seater rooms. There are plenty of PG accommodation nearby, in case you don't get a hostel seat.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

The college average placement are 6 lakh per annum and in my branch out of 64 student only 30 God placement but the mistake is of the students because many companies are visiting our colleges but they couldn't find the talent required for the skilled person they required

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

The college is good for academics but there is no campus life.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average in the college. From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements. About 60% students get placed in the college. The average package of our college is 3-4 lakhs per annum and the highest package last year was around 13 lakhs per annum. I will choose to do M.tech after passing out of the college.

Remarks:

One of my neighbour has graduated from this college and he gave me good reviews. When I went for admission the principal was very responsible to communicate with me and my parents. Moreover it was quite nearby my place and the campus environment is also nice and very calm.

Entrance Preview:

I passed my B.Ed degree with 2nd division. I had completed my M.A. I had a special paper named Pre Primary Education I had compulsory papers i.e History and Bengali. My optional subject was English. It was 3 yrs course to complete the honours degree. I completed my 12th class from this college with second division.

The Heritage Academy - All you need to know

I applied to Jadavpur University through their entrance exam, however i was not selected there due to my low scores in their entrance exam. Then through various research I found out about the course of BCA in internet, since I had taken a year drop I found it would be perfect for me. Then through internet I found out heritage is one the best colleges in bengal for studying the BCA.
