Remarks

The main problem about the college is that it is located far away from the city and it takes a lot of time to commute daily .The college is located in th e ghaziabad and one has to struggle everyday with traffic to reach to the college in time.

Entrance Preview

I appeared for uptu examination to enter into this college. My rank in uptu examination was 2355 and i chose this college because it is one of the best college under uptu and offers good placement.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is followed same across every uptu college and it is very precise and covers everything important for the student in examination.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides internship but to only those students who have a very good academic score and are serious in summer internship.Generally the average stipend given in internship is around 12k to 15k per month. The overall experience is also good as you learn a lot in the internship programme.

Placement Experience

The ajay kumar garg offers best placement under uptu college. The placement record is good .Every year college places around 70-75% students in good companies and there are very bright opportunities for a good student in the college

College Events

Techtrishna and vibration are the two cultural events that are celebrated every year in the college. From dance to various cultural activities everything takes place in this college annual cultural programme.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible in comparison to other engineering colleges in delhi -ncr.The hostel facility is good or you can take a pg outside the college and can have good food as there are lot of tiffin centres across the college area.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually i have not availed any loan facility so no idea about the loan facility or scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is good ,everyone enjoys the experience in doing the btech and gender ratio is also good. The sport facilities available are adequate and regular competetions happen in the college to enhance the skills of the student.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are very helpful if u talk and maintain a good relationship with seniors , definitely they will help you in your semester exams and provides you their notes of different subjects. So overall senior students are good in the college.

Faculty

The faculty members of the college are highly educated and very sincere in teaching students. The faculty members put a lot of hardwork to insure each child gets a good placement at the end.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
