Remarks

overall in would like to say that this is a very good college in NCR region and have a very good records of its placement and research work.it is known college in ghaziabad and in country for its contribution in edecation sector.it is in top collegess of uptu and in top private colleges of india. Every student taking admission in uptu should think about AKGEC once.

Entrance Preview

I qualified upsee 2014 and took admission in akgec through it.I got 4308 rank in general category, I was able to get any govt. college but i choose it because i have heard good about it from my friends who were passed out of it.

Course Curriculum Overview

due to a research focussing teaching pattern ,there is a large oppurtunity of research work in this college.there is a very good and talented faculty here to support the study and research.as i have heard about this college and about its teacher,that was absolutely right, they have a specific teaching technique which helps us a lot for students.

Internships Opportunities

Internship are the important of part any engineering student career as it gives a shape to student workshop training which makes the student prepared for engineering with the help of new improved technologies in different and efficeint way.so, our college has contracts with many companies for internship and training program.

As the education level of our college is outstanding,its academic results are of top level .so percentage of placement of our college is very high, due to good technical knowledge ,maximum of good student gets job and placement in the coursetime or right just after graduation as btech. Many companies in last month and placed a large no. of students on good packages .

there are many fests which are organise every year like TECH fests,rangoli fest, ROBOWARS,which are highly appreciated by everybody.every student participate with great enthusiasm in there fests and shows there talents.everytype of talent is promoted by faculties here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

fee structure is very normal like just a average engg. college of uptu.its nearly about 93,000 per year plus hostal and security charge.It is very feasible for AVERAGE student for any engineering college, hostel charge is about 70,000 rs. per year for double seater.

Fees and Financial Aid

For students with low financial condition ,college helps for getting education loans from various bank facilities.for very excellent students college also helps by reducing the fees on the basis of their performance also FW (fee waiver) scheme is there under university which helps students to get free education.

Campus Life

campus life here is really awesome.green environment here is very beautiful .there is a large sport ground for play,gym,robote house ,two canteens,great library.as there is co-education in college,,every girl and boys is treated as same,there is no bit of racism,sexism and relegious harrassment.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are better here as compared to other pvt, colleges in uttar pradesh technical university(now APJ ABDUL KALAM TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY ), it can be said that it is totally worth of its fees.mess food is very good and nutrition full holiday have special added menu in fooding.

I think alumni meeting are the best ways to introduce the students with new technologies, job managaments, offers and research oppurtunity, and various new ideas as well. this makes student able to fight with problems which would to their in future life, alumni meet is organised every fourth year and hundreds of alumnis share their experirences.

Exam Structure

exam structure are very good here with great structure which provide typical knowledge about every type of syllabus.so,students gets motivated and becomes ready for every type of challenges like uptu exams,and other copmetitive exams like GATE,IES.etc.

Most of the teachers are Phd and MTECH from either IITs.so ,they have special teaching skills.they teach students in such a way that every and and each student could get the maximum knowledge, there weekly and surprize test makes every student always ready for tests.In such a way every teacher teacher works hard to get the maximum output.As all the teachers are highly qualified ,so they know how to teach a student with maximum effort.

Likes

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

Good college for Degrees

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

Dislikes

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

Placement Experience:

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

I liked the professor of college their teaching style and unique approaches
I like the events they keep on launching in college
I like the placement ratio in college and their seriousness to get everyone placed

Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio is very less as compared to other colleges
The environment of college is not too good it's okay okay
The infrastructure is not well maintained

The curriculum designed is new latest like we study subjects such as emerging technology digital electronics computer science c , english for job the teacher teaches us using projector visualisation the first mid sem happens after 1 month or opening of college difficulty level is very easy

Encouraging more internship and training opportunities for students.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Likes

The quality of study is very appreciable. As our syllabus is very updated. Also the practical knowledge in colleges very good as well.
New buildings for 1st year as to prevent ragging is a very plus point. This prevent first year student from ragging and also give them a very friendly and good environment as well.
The placements are very good as in terms of quantity and quality as well many many companies came here and also many big companies which do not come in any other colleges in greater Noida also come in NIET.

Dislikes

The one thing I decide is high requirement of attendance which is 85% attendance by this criteria we get less time in fore hours kill enhancement and learning other things.
Also the coding culture is quite not good for 1st year as well so this thing also I don't like.
The other thing I don't like is that the assignments pressure was quite high in semester one and very very much assignments was given to our branches as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for setting in the campus placements is from 6 semester. And for internships the students become eligible from 4th semester and the internship is mandatory for every student. The companies visiting the college are quite in number. The highest placements which was offered during the ongoing placement is 44 lpa. And the average packages for company and profiles of a days 7 to 8 LP. The percentage of students getting placements are very good as 80 to 90% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get the highest placement

IIT bhu college review

Likes

I liked the teaching methods of some professors in our college .Their way of teaching is unique . In our college boy and girl ratio is approximately 5 to 1.
I also liked the ground and sports facilities of our college . Our college has 3 big grounds and a sac also a gym which has latest equipments and many more things.
The fests of our college is amazing , recently a fest called kashiyatra happened which is biggest fest of our college

Dislikes

I disliked the infrastructure of our college . Our college do not have ac in lecture halls or even there is no single ac for students in campus .
In our college the equipments in manufacturing practice are very old they are rusted and facilities don't even want to tell about those equipments. They are lazy .
Our college IIT bhu don't have their boundaries it is connected to bhu that's why clashes happened every month . Students of IIT and bhu fight every month and the service of proctor in IIT bhu is very disrespectful,they are lazy and don't take actio

Placement Experience:

Our college IIT bhu provides placement at end of year companies came for hiring students and hire them . Our IIT has 2nd rank in terms of placement in all iits. At the end of 3rd year students became eligible for campus placements. Our college also provide internship in third year companies came for internship in our college. My plans after getting degree is to get a high paying job in india and give financial stability to my family. Approximately 70 percent students get job in placement sessions.

An average college, it is good if you are from middle lower class family

Our college provides the training that includes DSA , soft skills and verbal & apptitude that the best for students for placements
The first year faculty of our college is very good and experienced having their phds
Our college infrastructure is also not that best but it's s above average, good water and electricity included Ac classroom provided by our college

Dislikes

The faculty of 3rd year isn't experienced they all are new teachers having 1 or 2 years of experience
They call students to come to college at placement time for regular classes due with we can't prepare for our placements
They take exams every months that I really don't like.

Placement Experience:

In our college I think placement are average, the average package is 4 lacks per annum. And the highest package is 34 lacks per annum.in the 2025 batch.There are approx about 60% of ye students get placed and some are left In the last of 6 or 7 semester students are eligible to sit in placements In our college the company that visit are finsol , commevault, nippons, hcl , juspay,etc.

i dislike thing in my collage are the students are not mature.

Inside Experience of my Time in University

Likes

I really liked learning in the Electrical Workshop. The Smithy Shop and the Welding Shop were my favourites. The Faculty there, were truly very enthusiastic and not stressful. The Electrical Workshop helps us to learn the hands on skills, of labour.
I liked the Cultural Fiesta, which is an Annual Event, where different Artistic, Technical and Sport Activities were prevalent. My favourites were Jam, Debate, Artwork, Basketball, Skits and Corner Plays, Creative Writing Sessions, Onstage activities
I liked the beautiful diversity and greenery of my University, different departments, crossing one another, everyone is friendly with one another. No unnecessary mess, during the class sessions, and there were not any such restrictions while we skip.

Dislikes

I did not like the high fees structure, which surrounded with our Course, as Btech is a vast expanded course, that requires more practical skill mastery, rather than theoretical study. I think the fees structure must be revised for deserving students
The Faculty were pretty knowledgeable, but I guess they did not put their knowledge into full action. Only a few Teachers focused upon enlightening the students with profitable learning. The use of resources and knowledge is indeed must for such.
In comparision to the high fees structure, I realised that the internship and campus placement opportunities were not adequate, to amass all the departments and their students. A Company Campus Pool is not something for both Commerce and Engineering

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.

I would like to inform uh that electronic and communication is a very good trade to choose. So many carreer opportunities if you will go in in industrial area, or in government sector. Make some connections with ur seniors others it is tough to enter in industry for freshers.

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I chose this college as in previous times it was doing quite good in placements and but now most of the students are unplaced. Other colleges I've applied to are JSS noida, Galgotias etc are these colleges got a better placement ratio that my college. But campus of other campus are smaller compared to AKGEC. so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
