Remarks
My college is outstanding regarding its preference for excellence rather than doing nothing. It is the No.1 private college in India right now and grades, results, and career-wise it's fabulous. The admission process takes around mid-April through an entrance examination called KIITEE. The nearest college from my home by train( although I'm staying in Hostel xD), academic brilliance throughout the college, Professors, and mentors are 24x7 available for helping the students. I searched in collegedunia a year back regarding choosing my stream according to the rank that I have got.
Course Curriculum Overview
My favourite subject is computer science so that's the main reason for choosing my stream. The ratio is quite favourable and balanced. There are Professors and Assistant Professors in our college, most of them are IIT pass-outs or ex IIT Professors. term exams are held once in every 3 months. Exam pattern is quite decent but yet sometimes challenging.
Internships Opportunities
Currently, I don't have the information about the internships in the college due to the pandemic and work from home situation. No projects currently going on in the college due to the pandemic crisis.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd year onwards. 220 companies visited with more than 4200 job offers. The highest package is 36 LPA and usually, the average is 6.5 to 8.5 LPA 95% of the University students get placed every year. My plans- Prefer not to comment.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees generally go from 16 - 22 lakhs including hostel fees. I am currently in 2nd year so haven't got any internship yet. Although it is quite fascinating. Mentors are very helpful regarding placements and internship opportunities.
Campus Life
KIIT fest goes on as our annual fest every year around December. Books are all time available in the basement Library. Also, they recently build a recent A/C Library opposite campus 3 of our University, which is indeed fabulous. Amenities in the classroom are quite up to the mark. Sports and ECA are done with great supports from the coaches and national plays also held every year. All types of playgrounds are there at the University. There many Social Groups and websites run by senior students. All of them are well established so I can't tell any specific one.
Hostel Facilities
Meal quality is Decent inside the Hostel. variation of food once every 2 months. The registration process for the hostel is done during course selection time in May. I haven't rented a room or haven't applied for a PG.
