Remarks
The thing bad about this college are the hostels since the college is very old ,the hostels are pretty cheap hence the food system is also bad so its better to live outside the college campus on room rent! and good thing is that its the best college of RPET and has very good placement records like the highest package was 8lpa
Entrance Preview
RPET was the entrance earlier for the admission this college. but as of now the admission mode here in this college is through REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) by JEE Mains score based merit list! I got into this college by REAP i had a JEE Mains score 144 in 2015 and got admission here in B.Tech in chemical engg.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course B.Tech is pretty much associated with technical study so aspects of research are pretty average where as the branches here are pretty much suitable to get a job in companies a very few student go for higher study oer research because almost all students get place in different firms with a good pay package so research opportunities are rare.
Internships Opportunities
Yes! in my college the students are provided a summer internship cum training in 5th sem. by different companies and firms!
Placement Experience
The Placements records of this college are pretty good many software companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc. and other companies like Cairn India visit the college every year for campus recruitment. There are many companies that visit for campus placement Alepo Technologies, Honda, TCS, HZL, Wipro, Hafele. At M.B.M Engineering College most of the students are hired by TCS . In 2015 about 120 students from almost all the branches got placed with a pay package of 3.3 lpa and the most promising branch for placement is mining about all the students got placed with an average pay package of 5-6 lpa. HZl hires the students..and in civil mechanical and electrical most of the students prefers govt. jobs and civil services like IAS/RAS and there are top rankers in IES Also. So if you want to pursue govt. jobs and Civil services then M.B.M is best.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship available for reserved category students like SC, ST, OBC and also for general category students and many banks provide educational loan for studying in this college at a decent interest rate!
Campus Life
CAMPUS LIFE well the campus is inside the city and very beautiful lush green campus attracts student to hangout. for snacks there is a canteen inside the campus! there are a lot of clubs in this college like robo club, the literary club, dance and drama club..etc. so the life apart from study here is very beautiful!
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are very bad i mean since this college is very old so the hostels are very old and pretty cheap and the food system is also very cheap so for students it would be better to live outside by taking room on rent or a PG and separate food.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni Network is very strong because alumni of this college are serving the world across almost the whole globe and they meet quite often on alumni meets!
Faculty
Pretty decent,i mean i had heard a rumour about this college before coming here that faculties don't even take proper classes and life will be ruined here but there is no such thing here, faculties here are very supportive and well Qualified. many faculties from the IITs NITs BITSs and all are very experienced and have experience above 35 years and are highly dedicated for the growth of the college. the faculties have a strong connections to international universities so that if any students planning higher study in abroad then the LORs can be easily obtained by these faculties.
