College management is good. But it could be better.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good and obviously it is relevant to research. The profeesors help us no matter what is the situation is. They teach us very politely to be more productive and profeesional. The college has own library and it opens everyday from 10 am to 4 pm.

I am in 1st year, So I don't lnow exactly about placements. I can't say the previous year records.

College Events

Annual sport, swaraswati puja, independence day, republic day, Christmas, and many more. As extracurricular activities the college has own gyms. The college official organises a annual sport program where students from every department can join. And many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

All the payments for the college is generated through online mode. We can pay this fees from the college application or from the students login id. There are no more additional fees generated by the college. And this college also provides transparency in fee- breakdown.

No. I don't applied for any scholarships yet. Neither I applied for any educational loan. The college fees are very low.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. As extracurricular activities the college has own gyms. The college official organises a annual sport program where students from every department can join. Labs are well riched. The college has own library and it opens everyday from 10 am to 4 pm.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the seniors ar helpful. They guided us how to complete syllabus properly. They are also worked as a personal mentor.

Admission

Admission process via merit list. After submission of the online form then we pays the fees for the submission and after that the college published the merit list in their website. Then the selected students got chance for online verification. After that we paid the fees of the college and secure our admission.

Faculty

The college has own library and it opens everyday from 10 am to 4 pm. Though the books are also available in online via the college website. You have to make a library card to lend books from the library. The books can be lended for seven days at a time.

Faculty is serious and everything happens on time with proper functioning.
I liked the food of my hostel Raman abas that's unique because hostel generally provide average food.
I liked my batchmates, seniors and my hostel mates. They're just love.

Dislikes

The hostel and faculty infrastructure is very old need replacement asap.
Rural location of colleges so urban access of blinkit,zomato etc is unavailable.
Placement numbers here is too short university need to work on that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly, I was preparing for neet but after neet i was very clear that i want to do this(Agriculture). Practical cum theory approach here will make you a awared man in this field. Placements and Governments seats after UG is very competitive although. In upcoming future everyone will going to focus on larger production in limited land/cultivation area so Agriculture will be needed today and tomorrow.

My Experience at Jaipuria to summed it up.

Likes

Quality education and an academically enriching environment. Most importantly, well- versed professors.
Extra- curriculum activities, along with an active sports cell and NCC, and usually various opportunities to participate in Inter-College Competitions.
Well maintained gym with separate timings for girls and boys. The canteen offers a wide variety of foods at an affordable price.

Dislikes

For my department, there was no educational excursion.
Negligence internship opportunities are available for my course.
Only some placement opportunities are available, and companies like TCS and Wipro came up for campus placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My passion and a bit of curiosity in International Relations led me to choose this course. The curriculum, in fact, prepared me well for further academic pursuits. For improvement, educational excursions and internship opportunities should be made available. The exam is held twice a year on semester basis, with papers set at a moderate to difficult level.

Likes

The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and are approachable after class for doubts and guidance, which helps a lot during exams.
The college has a disciplined academic environment with regular classes and practical sessions. Laboratories are functional and help students understand concepts through hands-on learning.
The campus environment is calm and student-friendly. Various seminars, cultural programs, and academic activities help in overall personality development.

Dislikes

Industry exposure and internship guidance are minimal, which could be improved to make students more job-ready after graduation.
Infrastructure can be improved, especially classrooms and laboratory equipment. Some facilities feel outdated and require modernization.
Placement opportunities for BSc students are limited. The college focuses more on academics, so students need to prepare for higher studies or competitive exams on their own.

A balanced view of campus life and learning

Likes

The English department has experienced and supportive teachers. Most professors explain concepts clearly and encourage discussions, close reading and critical thinking.
The course is very affordable, especially compared to private colleges. With scholarships, it becomes accessible for students from middle and lower income backgrounds.
The college has a friendly and diverse student crowd. The girls to boys ratio is balanced with slightly more female students, which creates a comfortable learning atmosphere.

Dislikes

The infrastructure needs improvement. Classrooms and common areas could be better maintained and modern facilities are limited.
There are very few placement opportunities for arts students.
Although some academic events take place, extracurricular activities and active student societies could be improved for better campus life.

Placement Experience:

There are limited on campus placement opportunities here, especially for Arts and Eng Hons students. Most students focus on higher studies, competitive exams or off campus opportunities after graduation. The college provides basic guidance through teachers but formal placement drives are rare.

I like the campus , it is quite huge and green , the canteen has both cooked and packed food available, a seperate common room for students and many sports equipment available. Several functions are arranged along with international conferences held
All the faculty members are soft spoken , knowledgeable and friendly, it is easy to find help regarding anything.
Professors are strict about their syllabus and subjects , paying proper attention to the students. Practicals classes are conducted without fail.

Dislikes

There is nothing as such that I disliked because I am a first year student so I haven't been so much involved yet , I think that the washrooms should be cleaned properly to maintain the hygiene apart from thjs everything is fine.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects offered in the college as well as the minor and idc subjects are well adhered to the curriculum and future aspects. The subject combinations are apt and futuristic. It moderately prepares one for real world situations.

small area campus is that what I do not like

after 6th sem those students who scored above 7 CGPA are eligible for campus placements. name of companies- TCS,Campgemini,Accenture,Delloite etc. average package -320000 70 percent most of students got placed. I want to job at IT sector after getting the degree.

Plenty of patient variety for better clinical exposure

Dislikes

Distant from kolkata, hence missed out a few opportunities.
Work load during internship is too much, no time to sleep propelry during the heavy subjects.

Placement Experience:

You can start practicing as an independent doctor only after completing internship, and getting registered to a council. During internship you get paid >31k/m The college provides housestaffship to students according to their ranks in academics, @monthly pay of 50k/m After the degree one can go for private practice, or for government MO jobs, or prepare for NEET PG for further studies.

Faculties are awesome, as they help us in anything even not related to study .
Many chances to learn. We have hospital visits too.
There are fests and sports, so can embrace our that side too.

Dislikes

Books are pricy a bit, but we need them for knowledge.
Triple sharing room which creates a mess sometimes.
Nothing else I can find which needs improvement

After 9th sem No companies . We just appear for neet pg exam if neet pg cleared - 70000 If not cleared - 50000 neet pg percentage will be nearly 4 in 100 housestaff will be 20 in 100 I will try INICET

10+2 with 50% marks The admission process is completely online. To get admission to the college application must apply through the college website. There are some specific numbers of reserved seats for reserved candidates. Currently, there are no entrance exams to get admission. The college website should be more efficient & easy to understand. Our college is the best in our district

1)I was really confused about how to apply for college.My school counselor didn't help me. So the process is not very easy for me. You have to do fill the form correctly then I gave money 150rs. Then the merit list was published within three weeks. I checked my merit list and I admitted into the college of malda collage.I took history honours .my course was Bachelor of arts. I decided. 2)I have applied two colleges. The Name of colleges was malda college and Gour Mahavidyalaya. I decided that I will admit into malda College. Because gour Mahavidyalaya is so far frome my house. I didn't admitted gour college. 3)I didn't applied any quota for me.
