Remarks

Has a lot of room for improvement in almost all categories. Could make the life of a student easier to get more famous.

Course Curriculum Overview

College teaches students a lot of things. But the primary skill a student learns is how to get something done, i.e. how to analyse and approach a problem to come up with a solution. It also teaches team work, soft skills like rapport building, mentoring, leading.

Placement Experience

3

More than 100 companies visit our campus for placements as the college has a lot of different majors. Some of the most popular companies are, Amazon, Zoho, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, CTS, Soliton, Accenture. The college also gets internship opportunities from a lot of companies including some alumni's enterprises. We have special placement training starting from our very first year, which gets intensive in the pre-final year.

College Events

2.5

The college conducts a lot of events throughout the year. The academic year starts with a two-day event for school children so that they get to see the college. A lot of schools participate. After that a lot of symposiums and various club conduct various events throughout the year. A lot of events have been made mandatory.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, this college's fee structure is the normal industry standard. However, in-house accomodation and transport facilities are a bit costlier than the industry standard considering the locality. But students who get through management quota has to pay twice than those who get through counseling.

Fees and Financial Aid

The people belonging to some particular castes were completely waived off the college fee. The government provided additional money to those people over this.

Campus Life

Campus Life is difficult as it is a relatively small campus and there aren't much places, so it always feels like it is a little crowded considering the immense headcount every year the college brings in. Gender ratio is varied. With mechanical studies related department having almost 90% guys. Whereas the circuit branches are almost par(1:1). Labs are okay. Sports are okay as well.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is okay, albeit not what you'd expect of a college with this much headcount. A lot of outgoing people, but poor networking.

Admission

Attend the overall engineering admission counseling that is held by Anna University every year for secondary school graduates. The counseling is held at Anna university (CEG), Guindy campus in Chennai. Almost all colleges under Anna University will list their number of vacancies for students and one can pick from the available options.

Faculty

2.5

Depending upon the major we are choosing, the number of faculties will differ. Our college has choice based credit system, where we can choose which faculty and which course we want to study. This makes students to get the best out of available resources, of which most are average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
