    PLACEMENT WING

The placement of college was average. Many good companies visited the college including MNCs like Hanu Software solutions. From my batch, around 20 of the students were placed. No such steps were taken by the college to prepare the students for placement season.

  • ADMISSION

KRMU was near to my residence. It had good infrastructure along with other facilities. HODs were from IITs. I just visited the college, had my documents verified, got information about the course and paid the fees. But I heard from some other students that there was an interview.

  • HOSTEL FACILITIES

No, I did not opt for the hostel. 4 students used to share the hostel. Sohna town is nearby, one can get a P.G. there. Average rent would be around 5000 - 6000 per month. The hostel's students always used to complain about the food provided to them.

  • ALUMNI

I had not any interactions were my seniors. Although i got informations that some of them are at high positions in good enterprises. Although my two of batchmates are also in good company.

    FACULTY

Head of Departments was from IITs, along with them some of the profeesors were from NITs and others were also from good colleges. Almost each of them had a PhD. The average age was around 40 plus.(some were in their 40s and others were above 50). Yes, 2-3 profeesors used to work in company before teaching

  • CAMPUS LIFE

In the engineering branch, there were more boys, but in other Courses, the gender ratio was almost equal. Labs were well equipped with respective apparatus and well maintained. Sports facilities were also good and there was inter-college tournament. There was a special committee formed for handling Ragging.

  • COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

Each semester had 3 levels of exam for each subject. 1. CAT (Continuous Assessment Test) 20 marks converted to 10 marks. 2. Mid Term Exams 30 marks converted to 20 marks. 3. End Term Exams 50 marks (10 Marks for attendance and 10 for Assignments and Presentations.) Yes, there were Industrial visits each semester.

    COLLEGE EVENTS

Events were organised by college branch of Computer Society of India(CSI) like programming and gaming competitions. There were other events that were held on special occasions like Khadi day and other National Festivals. Freshers party and cultural Fest were also organised by colleges.

  • LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS

No, I did not avail the education loan. But the college has tie-up with a bank that provides education loan.
